もともとは1909年に建てられましたが、2011年に全面改装されました。


3階建てのペットに優しい家で、ポーチがいっぱい、焼き物用の新しいデッキがあります。
家のレイアウト：ダ���ニング���ーブル席16〜20席、リビングルームにテレビ、コモンズエリアにハーフバス。 2階：クイーンサイズベッド2台とフルバス、クイーン��イズベッド2台、2段ベッド1台とテレ��1台。 浴室��シャワ���付き浴槽です。 また2階：ベッドルーム3、4、5、6にはクイーンサイズベッドがあり、フルホー���バスが2つあります。

Great family gathering spot

Great communication from property management, very well-stocked kitchen, the huge gathering table was perfect for family dinners and game night. The location is great - close to a cute downtown area.

Great Home for a Large Group

The perfect location for a family Christmas celebration! Walk to hiking and easy drive into town. Huge dining room table and well stocked kitchen. Cozy front porch with a beautiful view.

Memorable Experience

This was our annual family holiday trip. Our young adult children really loved seeing all the family history on display at this house. The location was perfect for our day trip to snow tubing and Asheville. The hiking trails were a minute away and had beautiful scenery. The small creek in front of the house was soothing and a big feature for the family. Tha k you for a fun and memorable experience.

Girlfriends Get A Way

For 20 years 6 of us women have been getting together on an annual basis. This home was perfect because we could each have our own bedroom. If you are not able to navigate stairs this is not your house. Otherwise, great views and very comfortable!

Multi-Family spring break!

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in Asheville many times, but this was a last minute trip and we had a larger group (3 families with young children ranging between 3 - 7 years old). We found this place, and it was great! Still convenient to Asheville, lots of great hiking spots, a great playground that the kids could walk to, and very close to the shops/restaurants in Black Mountain! The house itself was really unique with the family mementos & historical items, which were fun to learn about. We were very comfortable in the home, and had plenty of room for our group. It was a great little getaway, and we would definitely recommend!

Great Family get-together location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Patricias home met all our needs for a family get-together over the Easter holiday weekend 2017. With 6 bedrooms and an extremely large dining table, we were able to spread out and come together! It should be noted that there are a lot of steps both to the house and to all the bedrooms, so I wouldn't recommend for seniors, including senior dogs. The home was clean and well supplied, plenty of glasses, dishes, silverware, etc. My only recommendation would be to update the pots and pans (I don't feel comfortable using old non-stick pans with the coating coming off. I would prefer stainless or newer pans). We provided our own sheets and towels. The location was awesome and we walked or hiked everyday. The rocking chairs were very popular and we enjoyed the sounds of the stream out front. Overall we had an awesome visit.

Thanksgiving House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is spacious and well equipped for a family consisting of 4 couples and 4 small grandchildren! A short walk to everything in Montreat with the large community field across the creek. We used the field a great deal. Enough room for 4 cooks in the kitchen for large meal preparation. The family room is organized so that one can be in the kitchen and still be involved in other activities. The downstairs can get cold. but good heaters are available to make the temperature comfortable. This is important given the young age of our grandchildren. This was our second year in the home and we came away with the conclusion that it suits this family's growing needs comfortably. As always, Greybeard is amazing to work with! We find it helpful to preorder our organic turkey at Earthfare in Asheville ahead of time - as we travel from Missouri, Indianapolis, the Netherlands and well, Boone:). Ingles is an amazing grocery store, we never tire of the Dripolator, and the White Horse has great live music. Add to that the views, the trails, and of course the children's playground and all our requirements were easily met.

Lovely Mountain Retreat

Our extended family stayed in this property for property for Thanksgiving. We loved the layout of the sleeping rooms as they are well separated, allowing for privacy. The kitchen is very well equipped and had most of what we needed for Thanksgiving preparation.. The town of Montreat lovely, and very walkable, with beautiful views and hiking nearby. Black Mountain is minutes away and is a good place to spend a day looking in all the shops. We would probably not rent property again in the colder months as the single main living space was confining when everyone came inside to get out of the cold. Probably better suited for summer months when you can enjoy the porches and most people would be outdoors.
