Wonderful villa with a very pro-active host, responding to all of our requests. We had early check-in and late check-out all free of cost! Enjoyed every minute of it!

Beautiful villa in a quiet location within easy reach of the Marina, Beach and shops.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Maciari Salvatore. Thank you for all your help and attending to all our queries. It has been a perfect holiday with everything within driving distance. I’m sure we will be back and will happily recommend to our friends and family. 😎

Tolle Lage und schönes Haus. Die Duschen etwas klein, aber alles sauber. Salvatore ist nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Küche ist nicht üppig, aber ausreichend ausgestattet, wie üblich in Süditalien.

Tipical Italian Villa with a wonderful view

The Villa was even more beautiful than what we've expected from the pictures. The House has been renovated a bit and surprised us with beautiful colors and a very authentic, italian interior. The view from the garden is amazing and we loved to use the outdoor shower with sea view. Everything in the villa is very detailled and you really get the feeling of spending your Holiday in a tipical italian House. The area around Scopello was beautiful and very quite at the Time of our visit - exactly what we wanted with our choice to visit in October. The weather was quite good and we enjoyed sunny days and romantic dinners with a wonderful view in the evenings. We can warmly recommend the Villa for couples, friends and families.

La villa è davvero fantastica. Posizione perfetta, a tre minuti di macchina dal borgo di Scopello, rialzata su un colle esattamente di fronte alla tonnara. Vista pazzesca, essendo un po'in alto gode della fresca brezza che arriva dal mare. Fornita di tutto, ovviamente compresa aria condizionata (mai accesa), e tutti gli accessori possibili, dalle zanzariere nelle camere da letto al televisore nuovo (mai acceso), al Wi-Fi. Gli interni sono ancora migliori di come appaiono sul sito, Villa rinnovata nelle tinte e in alcune parti dell'arredamento di recente. La zona esterna è favolosa, veranda per cene di atmosfera , barbecue, doccia esterna, ampio giardino molto curato, grande spazio per auto (necessaria vista la posizione). Valore aggiunto è la gestione di Salvatore, discreto, disponibile per qualunque necessità (difficile aver bisogno di qualcos'altro!), serio nel suo lavoro. Massima trasparenza e serietà nella trattativa. La villa è stupenda, perfetta per chi cerca privacy, atmosfera, natura e una vista mozzafiato. Soggiornato in famiglia con due figli di 8 e 11 anni...Vacanza meravigliosa!

One week in a beautifull Villa

The villa was even better than the pictures shows. Beautifull view over Scopello en Catellemare del Golfo and, off course, the sea. Everything you need is in the villa. The bedrooms en de 2 bathrooms are just fine. Even the outside shower was a present. Scopello is an very nice and little village. Just what you espect from a Italian village. Every morning the sun. Breakfast in the shadow with view at the sea. Every day another beach. All very nice and quit if you want.

10 beautiful days

Wonderful week

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at the Villa Grecale and we highly recommend it. The building itself is very nice, comfortable, and clean. The outdoor area is tiled all around the house making it very nice for walking around, even in bare feet. There is an outdoor shower as well as two showers indoors, but we ended up using the outdoor shower most of the time because it is simply delightful. The views from the villa are splendid, and we spent quite a lot of time relaxing with a book or over a meal looking out over the village of Scopello, the Zingaro Nature Reserve, the Mediterranean, and the old tuna fishery. As the villa is up on the side of the hill, the views really are dramatic, plus if it is hot in the town, it is relatively cool and comfortable at the villa. Part of the experience here is the village of Scopello, a lovely old village with terrific coffee bars, fine restaurants, and a gentle feel. It is very easy to relax in Scopello. Outside the village is a market where good food and wine are available at very reasonable prices to bring back to the villa. A significant feature of the area is the Zingaro Nature Reserve which is beautiful in itself and affords excellent hiking and fantastic swimming. The beaches are not crowded, the waters are clear and warm, and have the turquoise colour that one expects in the Caribbean. A highlight of the area. Our Sicilian trip lasted two weeks, one of which we spent at the Villa Grecale. It was without question the best part of our holiday. Salvatore is an excellent, friendly, and informative host. He looks after his properties well and gave us very good advice about what to see and, particularly, how to rent a car. We will let him give you details of this, but we had an excellent car at a much lower price than we could otherwise have had. We highly recommend Salvatore and his properties at Scopello.

Absolutely Lovely! Fantastic!

Words cannot convey how BEAUTIFUL the scenery is from the lovely vill Gracale. One can sit on the patio all day and watch the birds, the changing colors of the water, the clouds. The villa itself was very clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed. Salvatore was great about meeting with us and telling us about different excursions we could take for an afternoon or a whole day. I am also very glad we used his recommendation for a car rental. To be picked up at the airport and then taken back again was a real treat. It worked out very well. All that we wanted to do was within a 2 hours drive. The fresh market at the bottom of the hill had the best tasting fruits and vegetables ever. The Zingaro Reserve, just a 10 minutes drive away, is some of the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen. Hiking through the reserve was one of the highlights for us. Egeste Mare Restaurant in Castellemare was wonderful, too. If you love the outdoors, hiking, seeing ancient Greek Ruins, beautiful old villages along the coast, eating great food, drinking good wine, and appreciating our beautiful world, this place is for you.

Beautiful view, cozy villa

Villa Grecale was great. The view is even much better than on the photos, the mountains, the see and the village down away - gorgeous. It was really quiet and away from everything, even though the twin villa next garden had some visitors during couple of days, they are apart enough, to keep almost unseen to each other. There was everything we needed in the kitchen and in the garden. We enjoyed every day of our stay and we already recommended the villa to our friends. I understand soon there will be wifi also, even more perfect then. The restaurant just outside the Scopello centre was very nice and owner Guiseppe really friendly. We ordered 5 pizzas and of course had to take 2 of them home, could not eat all of them. The best beach was 40 minutes away in San Vito lo Capo, beautiful white sandy beach and there is also baker's shop on the main street, that has best pastry in the world, where 5 EUR was enough for 5 people family.

Scopello in the hills

Having had a great time at another property of our contact, Salavtore's Villas we decided to stay on and he arranged for us to stay at Villa Gracale. Situated in the hills behind Scopello getting there involves a climb up a ewinding mountain road. Luckily Salvatore had arranged a car for us, including an airport pick-up. The Villa itself has beautiful views, is private and has great gardens. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and washing machine. We read a lot and used the BBQ most evenings to cook local produce. we stayed at the Villa most time apart form the odd visit to one of the local beaches. We had a lovely time.
