The host was very receptive with great communications. The basket of goodies (cookies, fudge, biscuits, tea, coffee, etc) & basics like milk in the fridge to start off with were a very nice touch. I would recommend a portable fan for warmer days & sleeping for someone like myself who is rather hot natured. I still fared pretty well with my trusty little hand held size rechargeable fan plugged in to electricity by the bed. Also, reflective strips or something of the like are recommended where the wood & tile floors meet & the tile from the kitchen steps down into the back entryway to prevent a trip & fall. My being somewhat of a klutz & an accident waiting to happen, I placed items in the doorways of those areas as a little reminder each time we passed through them that there was a somewhat elevated wooden strip to step over or a step down. That worked to prevent my doing something stupid & hurting myself. A non-slip mat for the shower is also recommended as it can be pretty slick stepping in. The heated towel rack did the job for drying clean laundry. We loved the stone walls & exceptional views over the harbour, especially from the bay window. Overall, we really enjoyed a lovely stay!
