Beautiful and well located apartment

We really enjoyed staying here with extended family - well equipped and flexible accommodation with fabulous balcony. Great location for the slopes and shops.

Great place

Everything was great, communication, how the unit was equipped, condition of the apartment and building, and convenience to the slopes and short walk to restaurants, etc. Only thing I would suggest is written fire place instructions for best performance (we had lots a smoke a couple times)

Wonderful stay at a beautiful chalet!

We were first time visitors to Grimentz and could not have been more pleased with the town, the skiing, and this wonderful chalet. It was just perfect. Spacious, light-filled, beautifully decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen and many comforts. We especially loved the fireplace and the balcony with stunning views. The location was great - so close to the ski lift and quick walk to shops, restaurants, grocery. Arrival and departure were easy, and accommodating to our late arrival and early departure due to international travel. Honestly I cannot say enough about how pleased we were. Thank you, Emily and Julian, for sharing this lovely home with us.

A wonderful week!!

We had the best time in this wonderful apartment. Whilst the photos make the apartment look bigger it was ample enough to fit 9 people comfortably. We ate in most nights and kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge and lots of cupboard space. The fire was a delight, and we used it every day, a real feature of the living space. Bathrooms and bedrooms also light, airy and the beds super comfortable. We enjoyed the sauna and fitness room too. A great ski area for beginners and intermediate skiers, and we were lucky with lots of new snow and some beautiful sunny days. Thanks so much for making our stay so memorable. Raphael was very helpful and we all had a great time. Nichola.

Awesome Chalet

We had an amazing spring ski trip to Grimentz. The chalet is awesome. Seems to have been recently constructed to a very high spec. Very spacious - especially the lounge - which the pictures don't do justice. Lots of sleeping options to cater for a range of groups. And all amenities that you could need. The location is perfect. About 100m for the gondola to Grimentz or the cable car to Zinal. There is also a conveniently located bar between the slopes and the chalet, for a bit of cheeky apres. We rented our skis from the shop right next to the gondola and the equipment was high end. Plenty of retaurant options within short walking distance - so that you can stuff yourself with fondue. There was a mixture of abilities in our group, but the resort offers something for everyone. Lots of off piste. And because the resort doesn't get too busy it takes a while for runs to get tracked out. For the slower members of the group there was plenty of groomed runs to keep them happy. There were no beginners with us, but there's a large nursery slope at the top of the Grimentz gondola. Hope to make it back next year. Overall strong recommend!

Chalet Luxueux au pied des pistes

Très beau chalet de standing à Grimentz. Magnifique séjour cathédrale et 5 chambres très agréables. Pistes à 50 mètres à pied. Terrasse avec vue panoramique. Cheminée avec bois fourni. Sauna et gym communs avec d'autres appartements. Si il fallait en trouver un, seul point d'amélioration : machine à café peu pratique si il y a beaucoup d'amateurs présents.

Sogar die Anreise war entspannt, da wir schon früh unterwegs waren und schon um 11:30 in dem sehr schönen Ort Grimentz. Die Schlüsselübergabe und Einweisung war wie geplant und wir hatten auch 2 Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage . Die Wohnung top ,auch genug Platz für 9 Erwachsene , Sauna und Fitnessraum gut und Ski in/out ! Dazu hatten wir genug Schnee das Wetter war die ganzen Tage traumhaft . Unbedingt zu empfehlen , da auch die Preise für Liftkarte und Service moderat sind. Bis bald Morten

Well designed comfortable home in perfect location

We booked this property last minute and the communication with the hosts was great before and after booking it. The location of the flat is great. About 80m walk from the slope so basically ski in/ski out. The flat itself is well designed. It has a lovely open plan living area which was great for relaxing as a group after skiing. Furnishings are luxurious and homely. Kitchen is well equipped. Overall I would highly recommend staying here!

Prachtig ruim chalet

Prettig contact met eigenaar en servicemanager ter plaatse. Mooi chalet, ruim en praktisch ingedeeld, met ruim voldoende slaapkamers en badkamers voor 2 gezinnen. Ook een aparte speel/tv kamer waar je je even terug kan trekken van de grote groep. Ruime keuken met uitgebreide inhoud. Mooi uitzicht op dorpje vanaf groot balkon op zonzijde. Als je ergens naar toe wil, moet je alleen wel een poosje rijden voor je de berg af/op bent. Verder wel prachtige omgeving.

Perfekte Wohnung für Grossfamilien

Auf Grund von COVID-19, stornierten wir unsere Ferien ende Juni in Kroatien. So mussten wir auf die Schnelle eine Wohnung oder Chalet in der Schweiz für 13 Personen, 7 Erwachsene, 6 Kinder (21/2 - 8 Jahre) suchen. Mit dieser Wohnung konnten wir wir das Gros der Bedürfnisse stillen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Man hatte sich sofort Zuhause gefühlt. Die Wohnung versprühte Gastfreundschaft und Wärme. Nach der Zimmer-Aufteilung, die nicht ganz einfach war, wegen den unterschiedlichen Bedürfnissen und Zimmerkonfigurationen, haben sich die Kinder auf den Weg der Erkundung gemacht. Die Entdeckung der Spielkiste war für alle eine grosse Freude. Man kann sagen, dass das Haus, die Wohnung super im Schuss sind. Die Küche war praktische eingerichtet und die Speisen daraus einen Traum, wie zu Beispiel das Fondue am 1. August. Die morgendliche Sonne flutete jeweils das Haus und lud zu neuen Taten ein. Die Abendessen am grossen Tisch, nebst Kindersorgen, regten zu spannenden Gesprächen ein. Die Infrastruktur in Grimentz ist mehr als perfekt und die Carte Liberté eine tolle Sache. So bot der Ort, für alle Generationen einen spannenden Aufenthalt mit vielen Optionen an. In diesem Sinne haben alle eine abwechslungsreiche Ferien geniessen können. Ebenfalls was erwähnt werden muss, ist die Abwicklung über FeWo-direkt. Jederzeit war man über seinen Status im Bild und die Kommunikation zum Vermieter mehr als Top. Fabulous chalet right next to the piste & the village

We had a wonderful week in the beautiful village of Grimentz which had skiing for all abilities, good ski schools and snow shoe trails amid a fantastic mountain panorama. Our accommodation in Chalet Adelaide 9 was luxurious. The owners had thought of everything to make our stay very enjoyable. There were plenty of logs and kindling for the excellent wood burner and the kitchen facilities were excellent. They had even provided games and toys for small children and the sauna was an added bonus. We thoroughly recommend staying in this chalet apartment. Ann S

perfecte locatie, dicht bij liften en dorp

het penthouse was een pareltje van luxe en comfort, alles heel doordacht, functioneel en met veel smaak. slaapkamers keurig, juist voldoende qua oppervlakte, hoge plafonds, zuurstof, sanitair heel net en functioneel. kinderslaapkamers knus en juist wat ze wensen. leefruimte juist voldoende en comfortabel ingericht, eettafel typisch skistation (misschien voor 's avonds wat te weinig licht boven tafel), keuken en apparaten volgens de laatste snufjes, tafelgerief heel verzorgd. we wilden graag op een avond het gekende streekgerecht "fondue au fromage" serveren en zochten tevergeefs om de stelletjes daarvoor, maar bij de vraag naar de eigenaar kwamen een spoeddienst ons 2 nieuwe fondue stelletjes leveren. garage voor 2 auto's is eveneens top, en de berging van skiën en botten is eveneens keurig. niet nodig om zich te vermoeien langs trappen naar het 4de verdiep, want er is een mooie ruime lift voorzien. voor de après ski kan u zich verwennen in een mooie sauna, alsook een fitness centrum, en tevens kan men zich afmeten op een tafeltennis. terrassen rondom maken het geheel super, één minder puntje is dat de zon zich verstopt vanaf 14:00 uur. jaarlijks laten we ons verwennen met kinderen en kleinkinderen we zijn met z'n 11, en bij evaluatie staat deze locatie voor ieder "nummer 1". dus onze "coup de coeur" !!!

Schöne Maisonette-Wohung an perfekter Lage

Wir haben 1 Woche zum Jahreswechsel 2019/2020 im schönen Grimentz verbracht und haben, auch dank des perfekten Wetters eine tolle Zeit erlebt. Trotz Grossfamilie mit 6 Erwachsenen und 7 Kindern haben war uns in der Wohnung wohl gefühlt, die Raumaufteilung des Wohnbereichs ist grossartig. Die Schlafzimmer waren gut/zweckmässig, wobei ein Schlafzimmer keine Fenster hat. Der Ausbaustandard der Wohnung ist hochwertig. In der modernen Küche war das meiste zu finden, um sich täglich selber verpflegen zu können. Der Skiraum-Schrank ist knapp bemessen falls man als grössere Gruppe anreist, jedoch gibt es in der Garage genügend Abstellmöglichkeiten (Diebstahlgefahr ist als sehr gering einzuschätzen). Im ganzen hat und die Location sehr gut gefallen und wir können uns vorstellen, wieder diese Wohnung in Grimentz zu buchen. Besten Dank auch an den William, welcher stets erreichbar und hilfsbereit war.

Grimentz and the Val d'Anniviers have great, snow-sure skiing to which we have ski-in/ski-out access from a beautiful property perfect for families in an unspoiled, traditional, medieval Swiss alpine village full of charm and character.

The Val d’Anniviers enjoys one of the longest winter ski seasons in the Swiss Alps as well as clocking up the best sunshine records in the region. It’s a ‘win/win’ for skiers, snowboarders, cross country skiers and other winter sport enthusiasts. From Grimentz there are over 220km of ski runs in total with a mixture of open pistes and forest runs.

There is also a vast amount of off-piste skiing and ski-touring for the more experienced skier and Grimentz is also one of the very few Alpine resorts where you can heliski from the village itself. The helipad gives you access to some stunning high alpine descents - Monte Rosa, Pigne d'Arolla and Aeshhorn amongst 42 possible drop locations.
