Beautiful house, poorly maintained

We had a wonderful time and loved the location and spacious layout of the house. The property is conveniently located near town, with about a mile walk to coffee shops and restaurants. However, there is unfortunately an event facility nearby that, although not very close, sounds like it’s next door and played music until 2 a.m. on weekend nights. There were also several maintenance issues, including a leaking shower that leaked through to the floor below, a broken dishwasher, one shower without hot water, and broken glass inside and outside the property. These problems, along with other minor maintenance issues, made the home feel poorly cared for. We appreciated the responsive communication from management, but the house needs better overall upkeep to meet expectations. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this house.

Beautiful experience, the villa is breathtaking as is its surroundings. The host's were very helpful with our queries and the communication was great. Highly recommend this for large groups! Only downside was due to the house being so large, it was quite cold in the rooms at night and the hot water doesn't last too long but overall a very pleasant place :)

Lovely rustic spacious house

Lovely rustic spacious house. Sleeps 14 if only 2 per room. We had pool issues all week with cloudy water, broken filter and then broken timer - shame because house was otherwise great. Maybe get some new shower curtains - one was completely missing and pull down shower blind upstairs was broken. Difficult trying not to get bathroom floors wet !!

Wow!!!!! The mansion was even more beautiful than it is seen in the pictures. We were thrilled with the interiors and the outer view was AMAZING! A Huge pool and lovely hills made it a little more exciting. The dining area was so large that we, all 17 people could have our meals together. I would say the Rocks really ROCKED!!!

Fantastic Catalunya Casa!!! We were on vacation the whole family 10 persons, grandma and grandpa also loved the house and managed the stairs. Lovely outside covered porch where we had all the meals. ”Catalunya Casa” were very helpfull and helped us with everything we asked for. Lovely person called “Dawn” at Catalunya Casa fixed everything immediately we needed help with. She recommended a very good tapas restaurant called “NigroMante”, fantastic food. We can really recommend this lovely house.

Beautiful, historic home

The house is a spacious, beautifully historic home. The pool area is lovely and really made the experience for us. There is ample outdoor space and seating to enjoy the views in the evening. The hosts were very accommodating and when we needed anything they responded to messages instantly. We had an issue with power in the kitchen and someone came to the home within the hour. They were also able to help us coordinate a chef cooked dinner, transportation, and answered any questions we had about the surrounding area. There was also a a smell from a laundry shoot in the main hall that permeated the area and was a bit unpleasant. It would have been helpful to have some additional information about the hiking trails surrounding the house, as we had some difficulty finding access.

Superbe sejour en famille a 40km de Barcelone dans une massia traditionnelle. Parc naturel a 2km avec des villages super sympas aux alentours. N’oubliez pas Velos et chaussures de rando!

Family holiday

The property is large and suits a large group. It was close to the train station for trips to Barcelona. The national park nearby was breathtaking. We also toured the countryside and went to Montserrat. Unfortunately it was unseasonably cold during our stay. Overall we enjoyed our time

Family reunion

Good for a large group. Maria was helpful. The ladies that came Sunday night at 9:30 with the towels we ordered. They also restored the power so we could use the stove to make dinner for the ourselves and the children. They were lovely. Warn people about the rock outcrop in the driveway. We had 3 cars and everyone damaged their cars upon arrival. Luckily we had all purchased premium insurance.

A stunning property that gave our party a memorable stay.

A stunning property that gave our party a memorable stay. The photos and description do not do justice to the grandeur and high quality accommdation this is. We loved that we could move around the house and find new places to c ongregate and share many special moments. Being an hour away from Barcelona was a bonus as it made us really value the time we had together in this amazing place. Everytime we went to explore somewhere, we were keen to come back and be at the place that felt like home. We especially loved loungin by the pool. The views were divine and the proximity to local Catalan villages gave us an opportunity to experience and immerse in the local culture. The staff were fantastic. Dawn was on the end of WhatsApp around the clock helping us with taxis and local advice. In the lead up to an during our stay the Catalunya casas Barcelona people were fabulous. We also had an in-house catered paella night that was an abosolute highlight. Carme and her children blew us away with the way they cooked, prepared and served us a gastronomical delight. I would love to stay again at one of the properties managed by Catalynya casas again. A six star experience.

Billederne stemmer ikke helt overens med virkeligheden. Der er ikke nok siddepladser udendørs i forhold til hvor mange personer huset kan indeholde. Det er ikke alt service der er nok af til alle. Udlejer/bureauet var super behjælpelige med hurtige svar når vi havde brug for hjælp. De var gode til at hjælpe med taxa til byen.

Nous remercions à Catalunya Casas pour la recommandation et Réservation pour cette villa La taille des chambres, jardin, décoration et le style , nous confessons que dépassé nos attentes.Le jardin permettre de belles promenades , comme tous les jardin meubles , qui nous a permis de dîner tous les soirs et profiter du cadre ; loin de l'agitation et le stress des sites touristiques typiques La maison en plus d'être divine , est entièrement équipée , a un classique , rustique style mais , moderne et fonctionnel . Nous recommandons cette villa et les environs, ainsi que la visite obligatoire de Barcelone, un accès rapide et facile à partir de la maison .
