Simple, calm, with a beautiful sunset view

Was a very nice place, in a very quiet area. The pool area is great, especially if you have kids, great view while kids have fun in the pool. The manager of the property was very friendly and attentive. Always available and on time. Will definitely come back

We had another fantastic stay at this beautiful villa from 14–23 August. We first stayed for two weeks in 2024 and loved it so much that we couldn’t resist returning — and it didn’t disappoint! From arrival, we felt very welcome, with a bottle of wine and delicious local Torta de Azeitão waiting for us. A lovely touch! The villa is spacious, clean and has everything you could need. We loved the traditional Portuguese décor and beautiful fruit-bearing trees around the property. The pool area is the highlight. It gets sunshine from breakfast until sunset, with spectacular sunsets and wonderful views towards Lisbon, including Cristo Rei in the distance. The pool and terrace feel wonderfully private, and we rarely saw anyone at the neighbouring properties. We enjoyed plenty of lazy days by the pool and using the purpose-built BBQ. The villa is on a quiet dead-end road with very little traffic, yet perfectly located for exploring nearby towns and villages. The local baker’s delivery of fresh bread and cakes each morning (except Mondays) was a real treat! Carlota, the villa manager, is friendly, responsive and genuinely lovely and helpful, making us feel very well looked after. We loved returning and would happily come back again. A clean, peaceful and private villa with amazing views, sunshine and sunsets. Highly recommended!

Vacances agreables

Super clean & good location

Our vacation here was amazing. The house was super clean! There was more than enough space for our family of 4. The pool, the garden and the bbq area have everything you need. The pool has a lot of sun, but shade is present in various locations nearby. The outside refrigerator and freezer are a great bonus! The view from the pool is unlike anything I have ever seen. You see Lissabon in the distance with the Cristo Rei statue and the majestic bridge. At night, the lights are fantastic. The house itself has everything you need. Although a real shower would be a nice addition. Because the house on the top of a hill, water pressure is not super high. This can be a bit of a hassle during long showers, but in the tropical Portuguese temperatures a cold shower outside is sometimes more refreshing ;-) Communication witht the owner via whatsapp is interesting too. Especially if you want details about good restaurants and beaches. Specialised stores, beaches and restaurants are all within 20minutes by car. A good supermarket at 5 minutes. A very good location for our family with 2 children (8 and 10)
