We stayed at "Le Camere Pinte" early this summer, finding this place on internet. What a lovely surprise!
We planned to stay a week in Rome, but since we wanted also to visit the neighborhoods [Villa Adriana, Tivoli, ...] and have a go to the seaside, we decided to opt for this solution. Sermoneta is a small medieval town with a well preserved Castle. It is also topping the Pontina Valley, so you can have marvelous sights, especially from the windows of the dining rooms. This place is indeed 10 minutes driving to railway station which serves the line going Rome Termini [Central Station]; so effectively we could be in Rome in less than an hour, and still enjoying the foods, the nature and the views of Sermoneta.
A couple of days were spent going also to Sabaudia and San Felice, no more than 30 minutes driving, for really relaxing hours laying on the beaches.
The apartment is really nice and well furnished; Marco, the owner, was also quite helpful and available to advise us in our journeys.
Last but not least, the price is truly competitive, looking at all you get.
Definitively to be recommended.
