We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this stunning location overlooking the sea at Porth Nanven beach. Very handy for the South West coastal path but quiet and secluded house and garden at the same time with BBQ facilities. Wonderfully well-equipped kitchen with Aga to take the chill off on cooler days and for cooking. Full detailed instructions provided for the Aga and all other kitchen equipment.
Our host, Phay had thought of everything to make it a perfect stay, from a great assortment of large candles in the dining room which we lit whilst watching the sunset to providing beach towels, scones, jam and cream and bottle of wine to welcome us and milk waiting in the fridge.
Easily accommodates 6 adults with a 2nd fridge and freezer space. Fresh fish 20 minutes away at Newlyn was delicious and worth a visit.
Within easy walking distance of lovely unspoilt St Just and all its amenities of butcher, bakery, green grocer, pubs and hotel.
Just a short walk round the headland to the breath-taking views at Cape Cornwall in one direction and the beautiful beach of Sennen Cove the other way.
In easy driving distance of Porthcurno and the historic Minac Theatre, beautiful beaches to visit and Penzance has its own mainline train station.
We didn't do half of the things we planned to, such as explore the tin mining landscape at Crowns Shaft, Botallack, walks from St Just and the small engine house at Levant Mine so we will definitely be back.
If you enjoy peace and tranquility and a feeling of being pampered, this is the place for you!
