A family of 6 including 3 teenagers had plenty of room in this lovely, newly renovated house. It's best point is undoubtedly it's stunning location, overlooking the sea with a balcony (great for coffee in the morning sun and seal watching) and a sheltered garden. The large conservatory at the front means you can still sit and watch the sea even when it's raining. The house is decorated and furnished simply but stylishly with some lovely pieces of furniture - some pictures, ceramics and more soft furnishings would make it even more homely. It's also well equipped with good quality kitchen equipment and accessories, sturdy beds and good mattresses. The house is quiet, being detached, and within easy walking distance of the centre of Mousehole with its lovely cafes, pub and shops. For those who don't know the village, it's one of the prettiest in Cornwall especially in the evening with the colourful lights reflecting on the water in the harbour, or in the sunshine if you're lucky enough to get good weather as we did! The pub does great food for an evening out and there's a post office and general store which is great for fresh bread and essentials. Finally, the owner Paul was helpful and responsive, answering my questions before the holiday quickly and comprehensively. Both the village and the house come highly recommended.
