This was by far our favorite apartment on our trip through Italy. Big, beautifully decorated, with a balcony with incredible views. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Conveniently located, but far enough away from the downtown crowds and noise. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends.

Beautiful flat with all the necessities. The hosts were very friendly. The large balcony overlooking fruit trees and flowers wonderfully relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

Great Location!

We loved our stay at this apartment. It was the perfect location! Close enough for a quick walk into the city center and yet far enough away to feel like you were in a quiet local neighborhood. The apartment was super clean and had very comfortable beds. If we find our way back to Verona again, we will definitely try to stay here!

Lovely apartment

This rental was clean, well-stocked, very comfortable and had plenty of room for our things. We enjoyed having coffee on the porch overlooking pretty gardens. The host provided a few things for breakfast, and a grocery was very close to the apartment. It was a great location to explore Verona, and also for day trips. One of our favorites was to Lake Garda, another was to Damoli vineyard in the Valpolicella region. Verona itself is a gem, with many ancient monuments and churches, and tons of restaurants. We loved Verona and definitely recommend this rental.

Perfect Getaway

The apartment is pretty and well-maintained. The neighborhood is quiet even though it's close to a school. It's within walking distance to the Centro if you don't have mobility issues. We sometimes took a taxi to and from Piazza Bra (about 12 euros each way) and other times, we walked to and from Piazza Erbe. Both piazzas will give you access to all the major sights and shops but from different directions. For Americans like us visiting in November (or the winter season), take note that the concept of heating in Italy is unlike ours, in the sense that we're used to adjusting the thermostat to our hearts' content. In Italy, the government advises a lower heating threshold (20 Celsius = 68 Fahrenheit), so it means colder temperature is the norm. We were comfortable, so no complaints. Another note for Americans: the apartment has a washing machine but no dryer. I assumed that because there's a washing machine, there would be a dryer. Indeed, the list of amenities didn't include a dryer. I thought it was an oversight. It wasn't. In Italy (or at least in Verona), drying clothes outdoors is still the norm as we saw in the neighborhood. Bring enough clothes. Thank you to the mother-daughter apartment owners, Antinisca and Gabriella! They were both very responsive and attentive. It was nice and very reassuring that Gabriella lives in the building. The welcome treat (cookies & wine) was a nice surprise! We highly recommend this place!

Lovely Verona

Everything was quite perfect. For older folks I would just caution that walks to and from the center of Verona are more than short strolls. Taxis are fine, just follow the procedure to get them. The hosts are very solicitous and helpful. The balcony is a great place to start and end the day.

Like home, only better!

What a wonderful stay we had in Verona! The apartment is so nice and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. After four days/nights in Rome we were ready for such a relaxing place to stay. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Like home with comfort and space to spread out. It was a quick, easy walk into the city center for visiting all the historic sites, churches and restaurants. Gabriella and Antinisca were the best hosts ever! Great communication and help with plans for our time in Verona and visiting nearby cities. We will stay here again. Highly recommend!

Schönes Appartement in Altstadtnähe

Die Wohnung befindet sich im 1. OG in einer ruhig gelegenen Villa mit insgesamt 3 Wohneinheiten. Die Wohnung ist recht geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen - und darüber hinaus - sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Matratzen waren für unseren Geschmack sehr gut. Der umlaufende Balkon mit Blick in den schönen Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sowie das Wohnzimmer (mit der Küche) sind mit einer hervorragend arbeitenden Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Kostenfreie öffentliche Parkplätze gibt es an der Straße (wir hatten immer problemlos einen Stellplatz gefunden. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin und ihrer Mutter war sehr angenehm. Man läuft in die Altstadt ca. 15 Minuten. Alles in allem können wir die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wonderful stay in Verona

We can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay at this beautiful apartment in Verona! The property is beautiful, clean, well equipped and in a lovely, quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to the historic city center. The hosts were fantastic, friendly and welcoming and answered any questions we had, made great restaurant recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed for a enjoyable, relaxing vacation! Fun in Verona

Spacious and comfortable accommodations. Friendly and helpful hosts who assisted in booking taxis and recommendations for sights. Nice extras like milk, coffee, tea, and snacks. Excellent hospitality. Notice to future international guests - tourist tax is not included in booking. (Stayed at other places where it was included.) Would stay again. Great a/c, washer, and wifi. Amazing patio!

Comfortable, spacious and quiet

The apartment should meet any traveller’s needs, situated in a quiet part of Verona, about 10 minute walk into the old city. The host was responsive and property manager resides at the apartment should you require any assistance during your stay. Good cooking and washing facilities, taxi access to and from the train station would be required as 30 minute walk to train station. Supermarket is close by, making it easily to self cater at home. All in all a great apartment in a quiet part of Verona.

Lovely Verona

The communication was on point and the host was super nice. This place is up to date and breezy with large comfortable rooms. Love the patio. We planned on having a friend with us so we got this two bedroom. It turned out we didn’t need both rooms but the place was so lovely I’m glad we didn’t change.

The property was wonderful! My husband and I, and my cousin and her husband all agreed we actually wanted to just move in and never leave. We all slept a little on the warm side, but that’s OK. If I was ever in this part of the world again, I would 100% want to stay in this location.

Perfekt!

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, Wohnung mit Liebe eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, bei Anreise wartet bereits eine Grundausstattung: Milch und Wasser im Kühlschrank, Kaffee, Tee, Kekse, Öl, Essig, Gewürze. In der Sommerhitze ist die Lage am Hang inmitten von Bäumen und Gärten eine Erholung, der Tagesausklang abends auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf den Dom und die Altstadt wunderbar. Jederzeit wieder :-), danke!

Charming apartment in a beautiful Verona neighborhood

What a fantastic place to stay in lovely Verona, in beautiful hills just north of the river. The apartment was very well furnished, everything we needed, and really beautifully decorated - so many interesting touches. The host and the manager were great, very easy to communicate with. We hope to stay here again for any future trips to this great city !:)

Herzlicher Empfang mit guter Einführung in die Umgebung.
