Tarn田園地帯の中心部にあるプール付きの美しい納屋

We are full time residents in France and will usually be here to greet you, and on hand during your stay for any help or information you need.
When we bought the property, the gite was already converted, but we added the pool and made improvements to the main house.
We have two enthusiastic labradors. The dogs have access to the garden and usually make friends with our guests.

“Pippa and Marcus's place was an absolute treasure in the French country-side. This place is for any family who enjoys quiet fresh air, the easy peace of pool-side crickets and the feeling of home away from home. Marcus and Pippa were extraordinary hosts who proved very helpful both with local knowledge and in helping us out when we had a bind with out luggage. The gite is beautiful and very comfortable and clean and very suitable for small families. The swimming pool was also a welcomed treat and enjoys sun from morning to evening. It should also be noted that while the pool gets all that wonderful sun, the gite itself remains relatively cool and shaded through the day, providing a rest from the sun a few steps from the pool. The location outside of Villefrenche-d'Albigeois gives good access to the local necessites and also is close to some of the area's local attractions. Our family has used Airbnb for the last 5 years or so and this was one of our best experiences ever. We highly recommend the place, not just for its value and geographic location, but also because the hosts are genuinely interested in their guests having a swell time! We look forward to our next visit to the area!”

We are situated close to the village of Villefranche d'Albigeois, 5 minutes in the car or 25-30 minutes walk. There is a good small supermarket, butcher, bakery, bar/restaurant and pharmacy.
The gite is close to the Tarn Valley and the river is normally quiet in the summer, allowing swimming, canoeing and fishing. Cycling is very popular and there are marked cycle roads and trails. Battery assisted cycles can be hired from the tourist office in Ambialet, about 15 minutes drive.
There are good markets in the surrounding towns, and interesting places to visit such as the bastide towns, Cordes sur Ciel, Puycelsi, Castelnau de Montmiral, as well as Lautrec (for Pastel) and many more.
For walkers, there are many trails, including sections of the GR36 which are easily accessible from the gite.
