Sehr schönes Haus auf sehr schönem Grundstück. Mindestens ein weiterer Sonnenschirm wäre gut. Da auch während des Aufenthaltes ein Schild vor dem Einfahrtstor darauf hinweist, dass das Haus gemietet werden kann, bleiben immer wieder Leute stehen, kommen zum Gittertor und schauen das Haus und die Terrassen an. Nicht so schön, wenn man draußen sitzt oder liegt. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.

Une très belle semaine en famille à Barfleur, on recommande !

Avons passé une très agréable semaine en famille à Barfleur dans cette superbe maison et région. Que cela soit la propriété en tant que telle, le jardin privatif entretenu avec soin, la décoration de la maison, son équipement complet, la situation idéale près du port, sans compter sur l'accueil chaleureux de Michèle et son mari, bref tout y était ! Ce fut une vraie belle parenthèse et c'est avec grand plaisir que nous y reviendrons ! Encore Merci !

Family holiday in Barfleur

This was the perfect property for our holiday. The house was spacious and airy, with a very private garden to relax in. The house was a short walk from the centre of Barfleur, so very convenient for purchasing our breakfast croissants. Barfleur is a very pleasant place to visit in itself and well situated for visiting many interesting sites.

Excellent séjour

Superbe maison avec grand jardin. Tout est fait pour que l'on s'y sente comme à la maison. Quelques minutes à pied du centre mais très calme, un bonheur. Plage à proximité également. Région magnifique avec énormément de sites à visiter. Hôtes très sympathiques.

Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist alles genauso wie in der Beschreibung und auf den Bildern. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen. Das Örtchen Barfleur ist bezaubernd. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.

Spacious and Central

We like Barfleur from past visits; it's very peaceful but there is plenty to do and adequate shopping facilities. The house had the advantage of being very close to the shops, restaurants and harbour with plenty of private parking. It is very well equipped for cooking.

Perfect location for a family holiday

Beautiful house, comfortable and very well equipped inside and out and in a great location in the village centre and close to the port. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, and happy to offer suggestions for eating out and nearby activities. Barfleur has plenty of restaurants (mainly specialising in fish and seafood), a handful of shops and a weekly market, and was a great base for exploring the region. We've already recommended to friends and family, and would love to pay a return visit.

We enjoyed a lovely stay. We were 8 people. Important for older people super beds. Separate bathrooms and toilets. Kitchen stocked for 20 people House and garden wonderful. Close to a great beach Very helpful and nice hosts.

Brilliant

It’s hard to imagine a better place to stay for a quiet family holiday. Barfleur itself is a lovely little fishing village that remains quite small. Excellent boulangerie and our favourite atmospheric friendly slightly quirky restaurant with very good food (there are a few to choose from). Excellent walks right out of the door. Several good places for sea swimming a short walk away, The property itself is outstanding. Spotless and bright but still homely. Nice private garden for breakfast/lunch, and enough garden furniture to catch the sun at just about any angle. Very quiet - we all slept well. Everything you could wish for a comfortable stay. The owners were lovely, helping us settle in when we arrived and there to help us get away without fuss. Also lovely to see them around the village. All in all, it couldn’t have been better. I suspect we will be back.

Absolutely stunning

The house in BarFleur is stunning. The interior has been tastefully decorated and it’s a really lovely family home, whilst also being very stylish. It has everything you need, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier ( though the glorious sunshine meant we didn’t need the latter). The kitchen is well equipped, fantastic large fridge and another fridge and freezer in the utility room. So perfect for large groups. The house is situated on a quiet road , ample parking on site, yet 2 minutes walk to the best Boulangerie ( the cakes are amazing) , 10 minutes to the supermarket and a cash point. The walking and swimming adjacent to Bar Fleur are recommended. Sambiere is our favourite. Golden sand and safe for children. Cafe de France has by far the best food and also a short car ride away Le Geoland 1951 is a must for cocktails and perfect sunsets. The owners were really helpful and Michele made sure checking in was easy and that everything worked. The garden has electronic gates so very safe for young children to play in the garden and there are a number of bikes you can borrow. We will most certainly stay again .

Wohlfühlhaus in schönem Ort

Hier stimmt einfach alles, das Haus ist schön und sauber, nette Vermieter, wunderschönes Grundstück, alles notwendige Equipment ist vorhanden. Das schöne Amiente von Barfleur rundet alles ab. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Man wohnt im Dorf/Stadt und hat es dennoch ruhig.
