Best Place Ever !

Best views, quiet, quiet, quiet, nicely furnished, great host. She arranged a great guest chef to prepare a meal for 8, and gave a cooking class while doing so. Plan on returning.

Beautiful villa in idyllic location

My family and I spent a wonderful week at La Viridiana and I can’t speak highly enough of the villa itself, the setting and the service we received by the hosts. Antonio and Irene made the whole week so easy, from giving us all the information we needed in the run up to our stay, answering any questions we had and giving us lots of advice for where to visit and how to get to Rome. Irene was available all week to help us, making restaurant bookings for us and giving advice on various things like which train tickets to buy. Their service to us made it a fantastic week and I couldn’t recommend the villa highly enough!

This is a nice house, with a large garden en good swimming pool. Well built and clean. View from the veranda and from the pool is great. Nice to look at the sheep in the valley below! Mr Antonio Fioravanti was helpful and responsive. To be improved: the house sleeps 6, in 3 bedrooms. The double bed in the upstairs bedroom is ok, but the beds in the downstairs bedrooms can not be placed as a double and are also not suited for taller (and thus also heavier) people. However: we enjoyed our stay!

Een groot huis en fantastisch uitzicht…

Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen hebben we een geweldig verblijf gehad. Vanaf de grote veranda hadden we een schitteren uitzicht over de vallei. In deze vallei liepen schapen met de karakteristieke bellen om hun nek. Beslist niet storend, integendeel, het benadrukte alleen maar de mooie landelijke omgeving. Dorpjes en supermarkt zijn op redelijke afstand. Op 5 minuten een lekkere bakker ontdekt. Alles wel met de auto, omdat de wegen naar het huis en de dorpjes behoorlijk steil zijn. We zijn uiteindelijk niet naar Rome geweest, maar het station daar naar toe (treinreis 50 min) ligt op 5 minuten afstand. Ook de ontvangst en contact met de eigenaar waren prima!

Dépaysement !

Dépaysement total dans cette superbe villa avec une vue magnifique. Propriétaire parlant francais, et super sympa. Très belle piscine. Seuls petits bémols, l'accès , les moustiques et la facture d'électricité.

An idyllic Villa

A wonderful villa in Lazio's countryside. Plenty of room and a superb view to green, roman hills. Surrounded by nature and trees you can hear birds singing all day, at least in the beginning of june. The farmhouse nearby at the bottom of the valley was a pleasant thing to watch as you could watch the lambs advancing and eating the grass all day. Superb! The house itself was perfect! Even better than in the pictures. A big kitchen with everything you need, a big living room, 3 bathrooms, big bedrooms and a lovely terrace where you can sit and spend time. The pool was great. We used it everyday. Almost 3 meters deep at the other end and it was cleaned everyday. It is quite a must to have a car, or other transportation, if you live here. Shops and restaurants are about 5 min drive away by car. A plenty of wonderful, medieval villages upon the hills are a short drive away. Lots of idyllic italian restaurants are found in this area. We got good information from the owners and the caretakers about the area. They were all very nice people. Only thing which could be updated is the barbeque. All together this is superb, idyllic and lovely villa with beautiful view and surroundings in a beautiful part of Italy. Lots of things to see and exoerience. Would definitely come back again if our destination would be in Latium. A big thanks to Antonio and Irene.

schoon, mooi, ruim huis, heerlijk rustige omgeving. Goede bedden. Helaas geen werkende verwarming, avonden waren erg koud in huis, melding gedaan dat het koud was, helaas is er niet op ons verzoek gereageerd of de verwarming aan kan/gerepareerd kon worden

Great house close to Rome

We have had a great stay in La Viridiane! The house was clean, great beds, well equiped kitchen with several terrasses. Big garden to play games. In the bedrooms there was airco, which was great with temperatures around 35 degrees. On the patio there was a nice breeze every day. The pool was great! It is large, deep (4 metres, great to dive in for the kids) and very clean. It is very quiet around the house, the only things you hear are the crickets and the bells of the sheep. The house is on a hill with view over the valley. Supermarkets are around 5-10 minutes by car, and the trainstation of Poggio Mirteto is only 5 minutes by car, and from there you can visit Roma easily (40 minutes, 3 euro pp). And last but not least, the contacts with Antonio were nice, we got all the information we needed about the house, shops, the station and nice restaurants (we loved Il Poggetto in Passo Corese). We were surprised to find cold drinks in the fridge when we arrived, thanks! Also Lorenzo who cleaned the pool everyday was very friendly, and Irene and her mother who came for check out and cleaning were very nice! We had a great holliday!

Per chi volesse prenotare in questa villa, posso solo dire che la casa e la piscina sono molto ben tenute, la pulizia é impeccabile, é provvista di ogni comfort ed ogni mattina la piscina viene regolarmente pulita. Se desiderate una vacanza all'insegna del relax non esitate a prenotare.

A perfect week

The villa is in a beautiful position overlooking a valley of mainly fields (and sheep!). Inside it is very nice - it was incredibly clean and well maintained. There is good air con in the bedrooms, and the kitchen has everything you could need. Outside the pool is fabulous and the gardens are beautiful - and the balcony is great for sitting out looking at the view. The pool is a good size for swimming. You need a car to get to shops/restaurants but we loved the peace and quiet. There are good restaurants within a short drive and lots of interesting places to see - lots of old, quaint Italian villages nearby. Antonio made us very welcome, gave us good advice regarding the local area and was very helpful. We would love to come back to this villa in the future.

Un angolo di Paradiso

Ho trascorso con la mia famiglia 15 giorni splendidi in questa casa. Ogni angolo è curatissimo dal proprietario, il signor Antonio, e dalla sua bella famiglia. La piscina sempre pulita dal signor Lorenzo che segue con attenzione le esigenze degli ospiti sul luogo. Abbiamo avuto tanti ospiti durante la nostra vacanza e sono tutti rimasti affascinati dal luogo e dalla cura offerta per l'agio della vacanza. Insomma, un soggiorno che consiglio vivamente a quanti vogliono vivere un periodo di vero relax e piacevolezza. Una raccomandazione: trattate tutto con la stessa amorevole cura che i proprietari, gentili e attenti, riservano ai loro ospiti.

Beautiful Villa!!

The villa was beautiful and very comfortable, in an amazing setting, with fantastic views to wake up to in the morning, the pool was incredible and the kids spent as much time as was possible in it, which was welcome with the hot, sunny weather. The manager made us feel very welcome and was helpful with suggestions of places to visit, as was the owner, at the end of our first week he sent us an e-mail to check all was OK with the villa and made suggestions of places to visit. If anything we found it a little bit remote, having to drive out to find places to eat, but it was easy to travel to Rome, which was just 45 minutes away by train. For a relaxing holiday it was an ideal place to stay.
