I was pleasantly surprised at the location within cute historic Hurley with the houses from the 1770’s nearby. The house was large enough to host family for dinners (we were there Christmas week) with enough room to spread out. Fenced in yard was a big plus as we brought our dog. Yes, as other reviewers commented, the front room is louder when the garbage trucks come at 5:00 am. Otherwise, it is on a quieter road. And the other rooms were quiet. The house is situated in such a way that early risers banging around in the kitchen and family room does not disturb others upstairs (that is rare). We had rain, but it would have been nice to walk the neighborhood and the nearby rail to trail and historic downtown. All and all, we’d gladly come back when in town visiting family.
