The building is a part of our neighborhood's fabric and continuous living history. It was originally built around 1880 by A. Duhart. An accomplished blacksmith, lightening rod and sword maker. His family lived on the top floor and his workshop was at street level. The building stands in the truest meaning of an architectural-classic and the definition New Orleans Style.
Spacious, beautiful, and completely renovated with all modern amenities by me - a third generation builder and general contractor in New Orleans.
The Location: The coolest neighborhood in New Orleans. Sandwiched between the French Quarter, Frenchmen Street and St. Claude Ave. 24 hour a day fun and some of the best food in the world is in any direction walking out the front door! You can see Frenchmen Street from the apartment's front door. Just a few easy blocks to the French Quarter and 2 blocks to St. Claude St.
