Dogs:
Yes! We are dog friendly! Please let us know the type of dog that you are bringing. If you have two dogs 20lbs. or less each, we will accept both!
If you are bringing one dog, 30lbs. or less is our limit.
We don't want there to be any misunderstanding when you check out. The additional cleaning fee is $150.00.

You agree that the number of guests that you made the reservation for is the number of guests who will be sleeping in the house. We have a street-facing camera.
You agree to remove your shoes upon entering the house.
You agree that smoking materials of any kind are not allowed.
Your pet is allowed, but please use the towels in the laundry room for them to lie on and to clean their paws.

Our home is professionally cleaned and sanitized using properly rated disinfectant for COVID-19, as outlined by the WHO.

S P A C I O U S Victorian painstakingly renovated to provide modern living with touches of Old World character throughout. The location is in the HISTORIC DISTRICT neighborhood of Bywater about a mile from the French Quarter.

PARKING: Parking is on the street and generally there is a space right in front of the house, but keep in mind, this is a lively area with restaurants and bars all within walking distance.

RVs - Because this is a residential area, you will not be allowed to park on the street. HOWEVER, we have a friend, 10 minutes away, who allows our guests to park their RVs on his property. The fee is $20 per night. Quite a few guests, who are traveling cross-country have parked their RV on his property. Let us know and we will contact him on your behalf.

Your first impression entering Maison Favorite should be WOW! Let us WOW you! We are positive that your family or group will love Bywater as much as we do! We live a couple of blocks away. The neighborhood is quirky, artsy and such a different experience making it memorable. After a long day of exploring all that NOLA has to offer and eating to your hearts content, you will escape into our spacious guest house with 12 ft. ceilings and artwork on every wall.

*****THE COUNTRY CLUB, located at: 634 Louisa St is a couple of blocks by foot where you'll find a restaurant and an outdoor SWIMMING POOL, so bring your swimsuit! (There is a fee to use the pool).

There are so many exciting things to do in NOLA beyond Bourbon St., for example, did you know that the city of New Orleans played a significant role in WWII? Its role was so huge that the Federal Government put its National WWII Museum in the city. THE ONLY National WWII Museum outside of Washington, D.C., so be sure to check it out. It is amazing!

The SPACE:
- 20' open/island CHEF'S KITCHEN with double ovens, 5 burner gas stove, and ample marble counter space and an abundance of cabinets; equipped with extensive cookware.
- 12' ceilings, re-finished heart of pine hardwood floors, 120-year old restored crown moldings, original 19th century doors.
- High speed internet, central air conditioning/heat, SMART TVs in every bedroom.
- Accessibility: The entire home is on a single level, except for the master bedroom.
- All beds feature TEMPURPEDIC-QUALITY mattresses.
- All bathrooms are immaculate and include essential toiletries and stacks of plush cotton towels.

The NEIGHBORHOOD:
The HISTORIC Bywater neighborhood is known for its food as well as Southern hospitality. Crescent Park is close by, which runs parallel to the Mississippi, and offers a great place to walk or run in the morning, with its close proximity to the French Quarter.
Upon request, after booking, you will receive a personalized list of recommendations including local favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.

GETTING AROUND:
New Orleans is a compact city, which makes getting around a breeze in a Rideshare. The French Quarter is an 8-10 minute drive away, which will run you about $10 - $15 (which is even more affordable when you split it with your group).
BIKING is a convenient option as there are plenty of rental shops nearby. This is a walkable neighborhood -- take a stroll along gorgeous Crescent Park on your way to the French Quarter.

GUEST ACCESS:
The entire home is for your exclusive use. You will have complete privacy here, however, there is a street facing Ring camera at the front door. Every question or concern you may have before or during your stay will be promptly addressed via messenger or phone. In the case of a maintenance emergency, our ground team is available to assist you. Entry is keyless.
