The house had everything we needed, but we didn't realise how tight it was for 5 adults to schedule comfort/bathroom slots :) !!! We also couldn't work out how long before the hot water for showers would run out, but we organised alternating rotas and managed fine :)
Not having working wifi was tricky, and 2 of us needed to buy data to keep in communication with work and Air Cadets.
The house was situated in a lovely village with a really nice sprinkling of shops. The Woolpack pub, which is literally next door was very friendly, and we enjoyed having a relaxed drink in there at the start of our break.
The den had a nice TV, and was a cosy room to rest in. There were lots of games, books and leaflets.
We went out to different locations every day, and driving in this part of the country is pretty and refreshing.
We enjoyed a little walk to the lakes which are at the end of the village - a pretty spot to relax or fish.
