Quaint, Cozy, and Clean

Unit was very clean. Kitchen had all we needed. Owners were very responsive to a couple questions we had. Bathroom is small, but has been updated while leaving original cabinets. 2 week stay.

Great location, quiet get-away

This home is located just a few blocks from the downtown shops and restaurants, an easy walk on quiet streets. Off-street parking was a bonus. The suite is very roomy and extremely clean, durnished with the necessities. We were surprised how quiet the evenings and nights were, very peaceful. In all, a great stay and highly recommended.

Stay for Luther Family weekend…AWESOME!

This property, as well as the owners were both fabulous! Off street parking, nice amenities, comfortable HVAC, reliable WiFi, and close to downtown all make this a great option. We’ve been coming to Luther events for the past 5 years as our girls attended Luther and this VRBO location was the absolute best we have stayed at… highly recommended!!!

Wedding weekend

We had a wonderful time in Decorah and this property was just perfect for our girls’ weekend.

Great property !

The suite is in a historic building and has been nicely updated (kitchen, bath, etc.) while maintaining its historic feel. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Walking distance to a grocery store and the downtown area. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends heading to Decorah.

Perfect Size and Location

This property was just right for a couple and within walking distance of downtown Decorah. Clean, easy, and convenient. Off street parking. Exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend. Will keep it on our short list of places to reserve next visit.

Quaint,quiet and convenient

Beautiful, historic property

The property was nicely updated, well maintained and very clean. Nice location, easy walking distance to a grocery store and the downtown area for shopping, dining, etc. We'll have to remember this one for the next time we're in town.

Great space to stay in

Enjoyed having this place to come in and out of during our stay in Decorah. So convenient to have the amenities of a home. Everything went super smooth with host, clean and comfortable space, and room to spread out.

Clean, great location, very comfortable.

My friends and I had an awesome stay! We rented both suites for a large group of us. There was plenty of space for everyone and the house was clean and in a great locafion--walking distance to everything downtown.

Kaleen thought of everything

The suite we stayed in was spacious and clean while it still maintained the historic charm . Kaleen provided so many extras. The neighborhood was great and an easy walk to the restaurants and shops.

We have spent a great deal of time renovating this wonderful mansion. We have completed the two suites available on the main floor for our nightly rentals. We are extremely excited to finally be able to offer the suites to our guests to enjoy. We both grew up in Decorah and have chose to stay in the area to raise our own family. Decorah is an amazing town and is full of fun and exciting things to do all the time. Decorah residents are very proud of our little town in northeast Iowa, and we really enjoy inviting guests to our little slice of paradise. We are certain you will enjoy your stay.
