Villa provided mixed experience of Tuscany

Overall the Villa was lovely and very much like the photographs- rooms large and airy. Grounds were lovely. Single beds and fold out bed very uncomfortable. Pillows poor standard. Bad odour from septic tank on the property. Kitchen very small. Extra charges for linen.

Family vacation in Villa Pietra e Mattoni

We were a family group of 12 people, including 6 children and 6 adults, ranging in age from 2 to 70 years old. We had a wonderful time during our stay. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making sure all our needs were met. The property lived up to our expectations, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone in our group. ---

Charming Villa May 14-21

First the location and house are beautiful. Anjana was very helpful and if you stay here get at least one dinner, which was fantastic. The first issue is they need to correct the address on the VRBO web site, the listed address took us to a church about 10 minutes from the actual location. A very kind Nun took pity on us and found a local who spoke English and after getting a map from Anjana he had us follow him there. You are actually looking for Romignano Winery. There was also an odor in the kitchen that eventually worked its way up to the living room. We tried opening the windows but that didn't help. We used the A/C which helped in thee upstairs but there was no A/C in thee kitchen. I was also told by some of the other guest that some of the mattresses had seen better days. It was too cool to use the pool but it is lovely and thee views are fantastic. Riccardo the owner provided us with some direction for taking a train to Florence instead of driving. They may want to consider putting thee location of the train station with some contact information at the house. The few negative things that were mentioned do not take away from the great time we all had while staying there.

Family Easter Vacation

I brought my family (5 adults with 80 y/o mother) to Italy for Easter Holiday. Property was beautiful, easy to find and to get to off A1 allowing us to get to many local Tuscany attractions. House was perfect for adults with ample sitting areas, large bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed a wine tasting and dinner one evening in the property which we thought was outstanding, would stay here again.

Einfach ein grandioser Urlaub

Dieses Ferienhaus war einfach perfekt! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt ! Es war einfach genauso schön wie auf den Fotos! Marco hat uns herzlich empfangen, war immer für uns da und hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben. Auch das Menü ist absolut empfehlenswert! Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub und wir möchten gerne wieder kommen!

Perfect base for Tuscany

We could not have been more happy with our villa on Romignano wine farm. The pictures do not lie. This is a beautiful, comfortable, and tastefully renovated villa in a wonderful countryside setting. The villa and property, along with the owners and staff, exude warmth and peace. You feel you are in a remote location yet are well positioned to explore much of Tuscany within an hour's drive, and even within 20 minutes you can get to a number of beautiful and delicious restaurants (Marcos, the manager/receptionist, provided perfect suggestions). We had a truly wonderful multi-course dinner with Romignano's own delicious wines in a beautiful setting on property. Our only regret is that we did not have more time to spend at the villa to enjoy the pool, wine tasting, and more. Please just be aware that there is another guest villa on property, along with the owner Riccardo and family, so you are not completely alone. We had some concerns about this since we typically look for very private settings, but this was never an issue for us.

Beautiful Family Stay

Riccardo’s villa was perfect for the 6 is us (with 2 teens). The air conditioning was quiet and worked well and the pool was amazing given the heat wave. Our friends joined us to renew our wedding vows and the flowers, table setting and dinner plus Romignano wines made for a night to remember- everything was incredible! Marco checked us in and provided lots of suggestions and the other staff members were so accommodating to anything we requested. . We loved this place and it was central for us to day trip to Florence, San Gimignano, and the shopping outlets! Next time I need to book a cooking class there. Thank you Riccardo!
