The positives:
- The location is fantastic, we walked to everything and the neighborhood is very cute.
- The apartment is modern, clean and comfortable and pretty quiet
The negatives:
- I thought it was 1 bedroom, but it's more like a studio. There is a sliding door, where you can separate the bedroom from the kitchen area, but there's a window in the wall, which has no cover, so even when you slide the door closed, it's not a fully private separate room.
- They only left us one regular size towel per person. I usually use 2 towels after I shower (one to wrap my hair). When I asked for an additional towel, I was told it would be 10E each. No thanks. I could buy my own for less. I found this obnoxious.
- There were minor hiccups with the communication as messages would come from different people (about check in/out, deposit, etc.) and sometimes weren't consistent.
- The electronic lock (where you use a phone, not a physical key) is nice, but you must have your cellular data turned on to use it. I wasn't necessarily planning on having my phone on every day of our visit because it adds $10 per day to my phone bill, but I had to do it to be able to get into the apartment everyday. So, this adds to the nightly cost. There was no physical key option provided.
- Also, be aware that this apt is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. This wasn't a problem for us, especially as we were traveling light, but it wouldn't be fun to haul larger suitcases up that tight staircase.
