The best Diamond Head view in all of Waikiki is yours to behold from this immaculate, beautifully furnished and well-appointed condominium. This is for you, the guest who appreciates quality and value.

A spectacular, direct Diamond Head view, Hawaii's most famous landmark, fills the entire living area. The outside Lanai has seating for two...enjoy your favorite morning brew and watch a beautiful Hawaiian sunrise dance on the slopes of Diamond Head.

The Kitchen features full-sized appliances and is stocked with cookware and utensils to prepare meals. The Dining Area seats up to 4.

There is one King-Size bed in the first bedroom (or two twin beds can be set up if you prefer), one Queen-Size bed in the second bedroom, and a Queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room.

This is the best area of Waikiki for families. Waikiki Beach is a pleasant 5-minute walk, just 3 blocks from the condo. The Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park, and the Waikiki Aquarium are all a few minutes walking distance. If you don't feel like cooking, there are many casual and fine-dining restaurants in the immediate area. Across the street is the Waikiki Community Center where you can sign up for Hula and Ukulele lessons, and attend Church Service on Sunday. The property is located close to a residential area, so it is relaxing and quiet.

This is a private condominium located in the AAA rated 3-Diamond Waikiki Sunset condominium resort. Building amenities for you to use and enjoy are a swimming pool, gym, BBQ area, and recreation deck. A well-stocked convenience store is also on the premises.

Perfect for a family with young kids

The location was ideal, the beach and zoo were just 2 blocks away, a grocery store was within walking distance. The condo itself was in spotless condition, and everything seemed brand new. We were very impressed with Clare's warm welcome on the night of our arrival, and how she made us feel at home immediately. We were especially impressed with her linen change half way through the week, which also included a full cleaning of the condo. Our toddlers appreciated her supply of snorkels, boogie boards and other beach toys. It was convenient having the concierge service downstairs, and they were helpful on various occasions.

Clare's condo was truly "...

Clare's condo was truly "our home away from home." It is very cozy, charming, and most importantly clean and well maintained. There were touches of Hawaii throughout the unit that reminded us we were on this magical island from the wonderful art pieces to the tiki torches and colorful books. Cabinets were stocked with all essential necessities to cook with - pots, pans, dinnerware, etc and they were all sparkling clean. She even provided cooking oil and spices! Clare is a great host. She responds quickly to email and kept in touch with us throughout the booking process and checked in with us a few days after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I can't wait for a return visit to Hawaii and will absolutely contact Clare for future reservations.

Great family apartment

Our family stayed in Clare’s apartment for 7 weeks (2 adults and 2 kids). The apartment was in a perfect location for us. Walking distance to beaches, the zoo, Waikiki, and shops. Having a gym, pool, and turf area to run around were great too. It was easy to catch the bus nearby and we also appreciated having a parking spot for when we had a car. Clare was a wonderful host. Communication was very easy from start to finish. The apartment had anything and everything we could ask for… kitchen utensils, house supplies, etc. Clare clearly put great care into preparing the place for us with a new rug, new tv, fresh towels and sheets, supplies and welcome gifts. Beds were very comfy! And the unobstructed view of Diamond Head from the living room and lanai is so beautiful!! The pictures do not do it justice. Thank you Clare for a great stay!

Great view and location

Condo is well furnished, comfortable, updated and includes everything for a short or longer term stay. View of Diamond Head is amazing, and very short walk to the beach. Clare is a gracious host, gives excellent recommendations, and helped us with any questions we had. Planning on returning next year, as this condo and location was perfect for us. Mahalo!

Nice place, lots of space, close to everything

Our family had a wonderful time at Clare's place in Waikiki. It was nice to have a little room to spread out, it was convenient to get to everywhere we wanted to go, and the view of Diamond Head was amazing. She warned us that the building needed a bit of rehab work (the hallways especially were a bit drab and were being repaired after a recent water issue) but the lobby and especially the pool area were fine. Inside the unit was perfect - very clean and well kept.

Wonderful location and host!

We enjoyed a wonderful 10 day stay in Clare's condo, it is in a great location and is so well looked after. Clare is a fabulous host, she put a personal touch on everything and we felt very well taken care of. The condo itself is well laid out, everything worked and we had no issues. It's small but was perfect for our family of four to come and go and have a nice place to relax and come back to after a busy day. We had family staying in other units and they always wanted to come to ours as it was the best. If we come back to Waikiki, we would definitely stay here again.

Another day in paradise !

This was our first time my family and I visited the beautiful state of Hawaii. My father was stationed at Pearl Harbor, so we took a family vacation to visit him. All I can say is the pictures displayed in the ad does not do this vacation rental justic! The first responses my family and myself expressed when we walked into the unit was amazement. From the Cleanliness right down to the view of the view of the mountain off the balcony was breath taking! Clare herself was beyond wonderful. She was so helpful at assisting any questions we had whether it was as simple as how to work the television or as complex as to a recommendation to eat for dinner! The best part of this vacation unit is the convenience of the location. We were walking distance away from the beach, Waikiki strip, bars, ABC store, clothing stores, etc. Over all, Clare definitely made our stay here memorable and extraordinary!!! 💜 Thank you Clare

Great Hospitality and Wonderful Location

Clare is a wonderful hostess; she is full of helpful information and has outfitted this condominium with many handy items (beach chairs and towels, hairdryer, kitchen items so that you can really cook, etc.) that are rarely provided in other places that I have stayed. The location is wonderful if you like the convenience of being on Waikiki but plan to explore other parts of the island and want to be close to a "real" grocery store (less than 5 minutes away by car). On occasion, you may have to wait for an elevator. Most of the time, they arrive quickly, but if you have a tight timetable, it is wise to allow yourself some time to wait. This is not a glamorous building but the condominium is well-kept, clean, well-equipped (other than no dishwasher), and a provided our party of 3 a wonderful, relaxing home-base for a great vacation. I would definitely stay here again.

It starts with the view, and just gets better!!

We had a delightful Christmas vacation, thanks to Clare and her lovely unit. The location was ideal - within walking distance to everything in Waikiki, (and a convenient bus stop for other places) but not so close that the noise was an issue. Also, the free parking was such a bonus! I've paid $30/day for parking in the past. Everything we could have needed was there - including a citrus juicer! I need to do a lot of cooking while away from home due to a restrictive diet, and it was a joy to cook here. Clare is such an incredibly thoughtful host! She communicates clearly from the start with her explanation of the location and amenities so there are no surprises, and comes to replace linens and clean regularly. So much better than a hotel, and the best VRBO I've been in. We were a party of three - my husband and myself with our 22-year old son. Our older son is an island resident, and lives just a few blocks away. We used Clare's condo as our refuge and rendezvous spot. I unfortunately brought a bad cold with me, and was able to rest very comfortably the first few days while the guys were out surfing , hiking, scuba diving, and doing their other assorted guy stuff. I particularly enjoyed watching the changing view from the lanai at different times of day. Clare has assembled a binder of useful information for her guests with menus and island highlights, along with local magazines full of current events. Incredible customer service from a warm host. Thank you so much Clare -- we'll be back!! It's great to have a home to return to when we visit our son. ps-- the price is very reasonable!!!

Perfect felt like home!

Clare was so welcoming and very helpful. The condo was lovely and clean and very comfortable. For a family this condo is perfect. Fantastic location &a host. Highly highly recommend

Thank you once again for accomdating my family in your outstanding apartment. I highly recommend this apartment to everyone. Clare is an absolute pleasure to deal with & her apartment has everything you could possible need. The apartment is immaculate. This was our second stay & I wouldn't hesitate to book again. My family consisted of 1 adult 4 children (ages 11,10,8 & 3) & we all fitted comfortably. Car parking inclusion was an additional bonus. Only a straight 2min walk (1 block) from Waikiki beach at the quite end of town. Mini-mart in the hotel or 3min drive to Safeway. You just can't go past this apartment.

This unit is well located in Waikiki - small but well appointed and extremely clean. Very convenient to laundry room and trash chute - easy easy! one of the few that had twin beds so brothers didn't have to share a bed! Reasonably priced.... and Clare is a kind and gracious host.

Perfect home in Paradise

Our flight arrived at 10 am and Clare not only accommodated our early arrival, but her place was all ready for us. We were able to get in an extra half day thanks to her hospitality and flexibility. Clare met us at her home and the first thing you notice when opening the door is the view of Diamond Head, takes your breath away, and then when you start taking in your home, you notice how beautiful it looks and comfortable it feels, fully equipped kitchen, tv with everything you could watch or listen to when you are indoors, fluffy white bath towels, and tropical bed linens - you know you are in Paradise both inside and out. There's lots of books on Oahu that makes deciding where your next adventure will be a difficult choice. She keeps a binder (work in progress) offering tips, guidance and restaurant recommendations. Her unit is very comfortable, at one time we were a group of 5 and there was no problem moving about comfortably and being able to all be in the living room visiting (and of course eating). The location is ideal, you are 3 blocks off the main strip, and a half a block from the trolley lines, and of course there's an ABC store within shouting distance. You don't have the crowds that you do on the main drag, but are close enough to enjoy as much of the crowds as you want. You can easily walk to the main drag, the fancy shops, restaurants, and more on your end is the Zoo, Aquarium, Sans Souci and Queens Beach, San Souci (lifeguard here). These beaches were a great place to snorkel and just float around, not very busy, few tourists, local kids and families, lots of sand and space and no bumping into each other in the surf. In between these two beaches is the Natatorium and you have a sea wall pool almost all to yourself. Clare captures the Hawaiian spirit of hospitality, elegance and welcome. She made the whole process easy, from her emails describing her property, responding to questions, instructions upon arrival and departure. Mahalo nui loa Shelly Scott, Sacramento, CA

It was perfect.

The property exceeded our expectations. Claire could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend the property ID 85871 to anyone. You will not be disappointed. You will enjoy the view of Diamond Head, it was incredible. We would definitely stay again.

responsible condo host and convenient stay to Waikiki beach

The house owner Clare is very responsile and experienced to assist us on travel planning. She sent travel kit to us week ahead so that we can plan daily activity and commute easily. I also got lots good suggestions from Clare on my car rental and local tour arrangement. While we lived in the condo, Clare nicely helped us to communicate with garage attendent so that we not need to pay parking fine again while we parked in wrong place. Whenever we have question or issue locally, Clare always offered to support and let us feel safe and easy to live locally. Clare's house is so close to beach, my kids and parents-in-law just walked 5 minutes to beach so that they enjoyed this trip very much. This house is more beautiful than the pictures showing on homeaway website, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet during night. Since it is close to laundry room, it was also time flexible for us to wash swimming cloths at any time. Clare prepared enough beach towels, very clean shower towels, and all the kichen stuff. It really like to stay at home. We cooked breakfast everyday, and got suggestion to try local food from Clare too. Clare helped us to change shower towels during the mid day, she lived block away and can be reached via message/call whenver we need. Thanks a lot for Clare's support for our vacation stay, we look forward to returning Honolulu for more longer stay next time.

Great Condo and Location and Owner and Everything

First off, Clare was really great and accommodating in setting up the Condo on somewhat of a last minute reservation. Had to find a place three weeks before arrival during a very high season on the last week of December. Very easy to communicate and helpful and within a few days, I was able to setup the reservation with her. Upon arrival, Clare let us drop off our luggage early, then once we came back and into the condo, we were not disappointed...the condo was great! Furniture was modern, condo was very clean, really great view of Diamond Head, my nephew loved Roku with access to Netflix and she even had fruits and chocolate for us to snack on. The condo was big enough for all of us and the location was also great...so close to Waikiki beach and all the shops and stores along the strip. It was also great that we didn't pay additional fees for parking considering other places were charging so much just to park at their lot on a nightly basis. Definitely a great visit and stay at the condo...I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer!

Great place for any extended stay

Traveled to Honolulu for a work/vacation with my family including two young children. First off Claire met us at the parking lot at midnight to help us park and bring our bags inside. She was very organized, had some fruit and other provisions at the place already, and the place has even been updated since the pictures on here. The beds are comfortable, she has more than enough towels etc and everything is meticulously clean. The location is great for a family, not on top of the strip which is nice because it was quiet. She had anything you could need to cook virtually any meal which was also a big help. The place was great and updated. If there is a downfall it would only be that the pool gets sun only in the morning in the winter (we prefer the ocean which is 5 minutes away), and the building itself is a little old and hasn't been updated but as I've said before the apartment is up to date. I would def. look at staying here for future visits.

Clean, Comfortable and an Excellent Location

This was our first Hawaiian Christmas and we were not disappointed. Our plane arrived earlier than was expected, and Clare, the wonderful owner, was at the condo waiting for us with Christmas lights in hand! She gave us a tour of the property and made sure we were comfortable with all the details of the suite. There were five of us, grandma, mom, dad and two teenagers - and we had plenty of space for all of our clothing and luggage. The rental had everything we needed including beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards and a beach umbrella. Clare left us a welcome basket with items such as tea, coffee, chocolate and bananas. The linens and towels were hotel quality with many bathroom essentials included. It was a 2 and 1/2 block walk to the beach and many excellent stores and hotels were close by. It was a 15 minute walk to Safeway and a short bus trip to Whole Foods. Each morning we woke up to a beautiful view of the sunrise over Diamond Head (except when we watched the sunrise from the top of Diamond Head!) We used the laundry facilities just out the door, on our floor. Dad and the teenagers were particularly happy with the Wifi and TV. We didn't use the pool, as we were at the beach every day. Parking was convenient and included. However, if you are not planning to leave Waikiki, you don't really need a car - the bus service is excellent. Clare was incredibly welcoming and helpful - we can't say enough and would love to go back. Mahalo, Clare!

Loved this place!

My sister and I stayed here with our husbands for two weeks and fell in love with this property. The listing information doesn't quite do the property justice as the amenities and appearance is actually more modern than the pictures show. The place was spotless, not only when we arrived but throughout our stay as Clare provided a very through linen and cleaning regime. Nothing was a bother for this wonderful woman - she truly wishes people to experience her Waikiki and is extremely helpful in pointing out some of the lesser known aspects of this little piece of paradise. Everything we could want was provided - even down to condiments in the kitchen, spare sunblock in the bathroom and many other aspects that made us feel like we were staying in an old friends home. We would certainly arrange a return visit should that become a possibility and Clare you will always be welcome in Aotearoa/ New Zealand (and the surfing down in the bottom of the South Island is pretty good too!) Ka kite ano :)

150460 Waikiki Sunset - Diamond Head View

This unit was everything and more. Updated furnishings including the kitchen including many amenities in the building: laundry facility, small grocery store, pool w grill area. We took advanage of visiting the zoo (very nice), hiked Diamond Head, Manoa Falls Trail, Polynesian Cultural Center, farmer's market, art on the zoo fence, and many of the restaurants offering breakfast/lunch buffets or sunset specials. Being within 2-3 blocks of beach to enjoy the beach sunset, people watch, all the shops. This is a unit we would recommend, and would consider staying if we visit Waikiki Beach area in the future. We did not rent a car, but took advantage of the local bus or shuttle service for a small fee. The owner (Clare) is very organized, offered suggestions, and easy to contact if there were questions. We left with many wonder memories of our vacation. Karen & Steve (Indiana)

Rent this unit!

The owner of this property, Clare, is an absolutely genuine and amazing host. She was readily available via e-mail to answer any inquiries I had about the unit, as well as any questions about vacationing in Oahu. She was a vast resource for information such as inexpensive airport shuttles, good restaurants, and other great attractions. Clare greeted us at the unit when we arrived and familiarized us with everything. We were floored by the view of Diamond Head; it is not to be beaten! The sliding glass door to the lanai frames the vista perfectly. The unit is better in person than the photos depict.(TV is a large flat panel, differ than pictured) The Hawaiian decor and lovely furniture was very homey and comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed and more than adequate. The refrigerator contains some useful items to get you started (butter, ketchup, etc.). We made a quick trip to the market and made breakfast most mornings. Though one of the two bedrooms was on the smaller side, two couples were quite comfortable sharing the unit. Living space is just right. We found the updated bathroom to be very nice. Flashlights, first aid kit, emergency doctor numbers were among many things that were unexpected, but very nice to find at the condo. It felt as though we were staying at a relative's home. The location of the building is fantastic. It's a just 2 min walk to the beach and across from a bus stop. We will look to book this unit on return trips. Mahalo Clare for your hospitality!

Great Place

This is a very nice condo in a great location. The owner waited for us when we arrived and gave us very helpful tips and hints. We would recommend this condo anytime.
