Grand Solmar was awesome! Property was fantastic, staff was great! Experience with VRBO process was very easy and straightforward. Communication was great as well.

Incredible property

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Saturday to Saturday stay at one of the very spacious studio suites at Grand Solmar. The location, service and attention to detail at this resort is terrific. This is largely a time-share property, and we did participate in a time share talk providing us food/beverage credit and percent discount... worth the 1.5 hour talk for us. We stayed in building 6 on the 8th floor. Great views of the ocean and whales from our balcony and could enjoy the evening music. We hope to return again.

Great Experience! Owner Awesome and Amazing Resort!

My husband and I just returned from our vacation at the Grand Solmar Land's End Resort. First of all, I want to say how amazing William (the owner) was to work with! I have purchased a week from other owners in the past and William was by far the easiest to work with and was extremely helpful and kind. I would most definitely reach out to him again should we decide to vacation at this resort again in the future! Thank you Bill :) As far as the GS Land's End resort... it is amazing! Such a beautiful, clean and friendly place! The view of the ocean is breath taking and the whale watching right from the resort was so exciting! The Cabo marina is just a 10 minute walk from the resort. where there are so many wonderful restaurants! There are also many restaurant options at the resort. We love this place and will return again!

Beautiful resort and friendly staff

This resort and the adjacent beach is absolutely beautiful, clean and relatively uncrowded. We were worried about them pushing timeshare purchasing but that wasn’t the case. Perhaps since we were a guest of an owner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort restaurants were priced as though we were in the US (regular city, not US resort) which we were fine with since the food was good and our goal of coming here wasn’t to save money on food. The location is perfect for those who want privacy but less than a mile walk to dozens of restaurants in downtown Cabo when you did want some more variety and more bang for your buck. Bill was a great host and made the entire process very smooth. Only thing I would have preferred is a room on an even higher floor. We don’t revisit vacation destinations but this is one we may.

As in all real estate/resorts it is all about "LLL" ( Location Location Location).

The Grand Solmar has the advantage over other resorts based on its location. You get a unobstructed view of the pacific ocean, the best whale watching seat in cabo all day long and no venders are trying to sell you something all day as the solmar beach is private. You get all this and more while staying in without a doubt first class accommodations.

This was my 2nd visit, already planning the 3rd.

Only change I will make for my next visit is not renting a car. You can easily walk in to town (all downhill) and then take a taxi back which will cost about $8.

Beautiful just like last time!

We have been to the Grand Solmar twice now, and have loved every detail! The staff are so friendly and fun, the food (amazing), the comfort of the condo, the beds & the gym! It is a short walk to the Marina and also neighboring resorts. We will definitely return again and again! Thank you :)!
