This home was the perfect choice for my husband and I to getaway for a last minute trip to the Sea Ranch. We loved the location on the bluff, right next to the trail. It was incredibly comfortable, clean, with all the amenities we needed. Kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub was in perfect condition. We loved the star gazing we did at night and lounging we did on the deck during the day. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Wonderful rental!

We had a wonderful stay taking advantage of it's proximity to the bluff trail and the view from the deck. The art work on the walls is great, ND HAS ALL THE ADVANTAGES OF THE SEA RANCH COMMUNITY.

A truly spectacular and welcoming retreat; peaceful and beautiful. Fast WiFi, a fantastic hot tub, and a wonderful beach side trail at your front door. Comfortable beds and one of the best equipped kitchens we’ve seen in our travels.

Outstanding

From the moment we walked in the front door we were hugely impressed with this property. It was a advertised on the VRBO site. It was cozy and comfortable. The views were spectacular. The deck is great for sitting and staring at the ocean or vegging out or reading. Gualala is close enough for shopping and casual dining. The kitchen was well equipped and the appliances, including the grill! all worked. Wi-fi connection was a breeze. Jennifer, the property owner, couldn't have been nicer or more responsive. When we head up to Sea Ranch again we definitely consider Windsong.

Most favorite Sea Ranch house

I have been renting houses at Sea Ranch for over 40 years. This is the 4th time we stayed at Windsong. It is clearly my favorite.

Mother- Daughter weekend

Loved every minute! Adored the home, so well appointed. The view, the coastal path, restaurant and atmosphere were terrific. The hot tub and 2 nights of clear sky for star gazing delighted us. Thank you very much!

Perfect!

This is the perfect location for a Sea Ranch getaway. The surf is a stone's throw away. This home is very comfortable and inviting with great unobstructed ocean views from every room.The host was very cooperative and responsive.

Perfect getaway for 2 couples

Our group of four had a lovely stay at Windsong. The views are truly spectacular and we enjoyed a stormy weekend watching crashing waves and listening to the rain by the fire. We hardly left the property because it was so relaxing and comfortable. We particularly appreciated how comfortable the beds were, the quality of the blankets and linens, and the extra touches like binoculars and umbrellas. Both bedrooms and the living room had ocean views but also full window shades that could be lowered for light and privacy which was nice since the walking path passes in front of the house. We would absolutely stay again!

Birthday Getaway

The house was perfect for two couples: two separate bedroom suites, a great open kitchen/dining/living room space, and fantastic; views from all rooms. The hiking trail along the bluff is 40 yards from the deck - close, but not too close. We look forward to returning!

lovely, private oceanfront retreat

perfect Sea Ranch location a few steps from bluff trail, in the older, southern part of Sea Ranch, where the original design concept is still in evidence. Although there are houses on either side, it feels completely private: from the deck and house, you don't see the neighboring homes; all you see is the meadow, cypress trees, and ocean. The house is very comfortable. The large deck includes a recessed nook that is sheltered from the northwest winds yet still affords great views. The kitchen is very well equipped. Hosts were very responsive. We hope to return!.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful views and very cozy.

We plan to come back in the fall if it’s still available. Just scan fyi…the BBQ was uncovered, very rusted and we couldn’t start it. A comment from one of the gals is that there wasn’t sponge or dish rag to wipe counters. So we used a lot of paper towels. But overall, it was one of our best trips in 30 years.

First time to the Sea Ranch and Windsong was the perfect getaway. Steps from the coastal path, the house was quiet, private and well-appointed. Will definitely return!

Our favorite place

Although we had to leave reluctantly a couple of days early because of a storm and power outage, we glad to have 3 days at Windsong where we have gone many times over the years.

Birthday get away

We love Sea Ranch and just sold our Sea Ranch house in August so it was wonderful to stay in this beautiful home with my husband and have our friends over for a dinner without having to worry about the up keep of our own house. We will be back soon.

We are in love with The Sea Ranch and this home, and managed to purchase it in 2016! We look forward to continuing to share it with all who have come before and with all who are new to the area. It was built in 1991 and lovingly remodeled in 2011 and again in 2016.

The stunningly beautiful Sea Ranch coastline is unparalleled! Nature's splendor and majesty is its crowning glory. Windsong, a gem-like respite along its edge, is a single-level home with two master suites, each boasting a king-sized bed, quality bedding, and gorgeous baths. White water views can be seen from the decks as well as from all rooms in the home. To us, there is nothing better than enjoying that first cup of coffee in the morning with waves crashing a few yards beyond, or lounging at day's end with a glass of wine, enjoying the sunset. Daily walks along the bluff trail, which Windsong sits adjacent to, is our favorite activity, inspiring and breathtaking. Our home is complete with its own private hot tub, internet access, new modern gas fireplace, 40-inch flat screen TV with satellite and DVD player, bluetooth speaker for use with your bluetooth music devices, washer/dryer, and well-appointed kitchen. A few steps to the south is Pebble Beach, just one of several beautiful coves clustered along the amazing 40-mile stretch of Sea Ranch trails, 10 miles of which ramble along the bluff of the most pristine stretch of California coastline imaginable. Beauty and serenity await!
