Décevant. Équipement insuffisant pour qui entend y prendre ne serait-ce qu’un petit déjeuner (pas de cafetière par exemple, 2 petites plaques électriques, pas de four). Photographie du lieu sur le site donnant l’impression qu’on est au bord de la mer (pas très loin mais 10 minutes au minimum a pied, et grosse route a traverser). Terrasse assez réduite et promiscuité marquée avec les autres locations dans le même lotissement alors qu’on aurait pu croire par l’annonce à un minimum d’intimité. Le lieu en lui même (côte sud est de la Crète, à l’est de ierapetra) est assez dénué de charme, et la vue de la location, bien qu’au sein d’une petite oliveraie, est polluée par un gigantesque pylône à haute tension qui s’interpose entre la terrasse et la mer à l’horizon. A considérer comme une escale pour un ou deux jours mais pas plus. Cependant, accueil chaleureux, et locaux très propres.

A wonderful experience!

You never know what you are going to get when blindly selecting a home base for your vacation based upon pictures alone. The good news is that every expectation was exceeded staying at Luna Blu. The place is family run and it felt like we were a part of the family while we were there. The experience was friendly, clean, casual and always pleasant. As far as the accommodations, things were top notch. We had a two bedroom unit and both were unique and charming. Lots of plaster work, including built in beds and night stands. Closet duty in each bedroom was handled by an armoire - we never felt like we needed more storage. We aren't big on air conditioning, but there were nights it was necessary. Unlike most places, each bedroom had new, high capacity mini splits that could cool a room to sub 25 C in a manner of minutes. If you wanted to sleep under a full blanket, it is possible! We were always comfortable, whether using the breeze or the AC. We like cooking in and the kitchen was better than most. The two burner hot plate was ceramic element which meant that cooking was a snap. Every pot, pan and other item you'd need to cook were there. No microwave, but it wasn't needed. The small refrigerator was adequate, but there was plenty of storage for dry goods. We were able to cook in every night we wanted to. Bottom line: the place is charming and clean, the people are amazing and the location is fantastic for exploring the Eastern side of Crete. I have absolutely no reservations recommending Luna Blu.

davvero consigliata

Quest'anno abbiamo trqscorso le nostre vacanze a Creta e abbiamo soggiornato in qst residence. I proprietari sono italiani. Il residence è vicino al mare e in ottima posizione per visitare la pare est dell'isola. Appartamenti ben atrezzati, puliti, grandi il giusto per cui molto confortevoli. Alcuni hanno le finestre con vista mare. I proprietari Giancarlo e Iris sono molto ospitali e danno preziosi consigli sulle spiagge da visitare, dove andare a mangiare, dove fare la spesa.....tutto qst rende la vacanza davvero indimenticabile. Le spiagge in qst parte dell'isola sono meno affollate rispetto a quelle delle parte ovest: non potete perdere Vai, Xerocampo, Diaskari. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Buone vacanze.

Perfect vacation apartment

We rented the apartment Sole and we were very happy with our choice. The apartment was clean and well maintained with plenty of space for our clothes, functional bathroom and well equipped kitchen. The two rooms are spacious and with comfortable queen size beds. Wifi is a little weak, but working outside on the terrace. The location is perfect if you want to explore the south east side of Crete, and the ferries to the beautiful island of Chrissi leave from Ierapetra which is just a 10-minute drive. The owner Iris was very helpful in suggesting tavernas and beaches to visit, and she addressed immediately a small problem we had with the apartment. You definitely need a car as the nearest beach is 15 min walk under the scorching sun. All in all a good value for your money. Recommended!

Appartamenti puliti e posto molto tranquillo

La signora Iris e la sua famigliola sono delle persone squisite e molto disponibili. L'appartamento è pulito e ben tenuto, il luogo è un po' isolato ma anche a piedi si arriva alla strada principale, con supermarket e ristorantini, attraversata la quale, la spiaggia è a pochi passi, dovendo però scendere delle scale. Ovviamente è necessaria la macchina, perché Creta è un'isola tanto bella quanto grande e vale veramente la pena girarla. Un abbraccio a Iris & co. Simone e Francesco

Accoglienza e tranquillità in un piccolo paradiso

Io e mia sorella abbiamo scelto di affittare lo studio della Luna Blu perché ci erano piaciute molto le foto trovate su internet e ci aveva colpito la risposta della proprietaria che da subito si era dimostrata molto gentile e disponibile. Non immaginavamo però di trovare uno studio così spazioso, pulito, curato nei minimi dettagli e con grande gusto, immerso nella pace di un uliveto tra fiori, gattini, palme e cicale. La proprietaria, Iris, si è dimostrata ancora più gentile di quanto ci aspettassimo, ci ha riempite di attenzioni e favori dal primo all'ultimo giorno e ci ha consigliato luoghi e spiagge meravigliose da visitare. La zona dove si trovano gli appartamenti è un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare la zona sud di Creta ma ci sono tante spiagge (sia attrezzate che deserte) nelle vicinanze (la prima a pochi minuti a piedi). Consiglio vivamente a tutti di soggiornare alla Luna Blu e di assaggiare le deliziose marmellate che Iris vi farà trovare in frigo ;-) buona vacanza! Alessandra

Un havre de paix

L'habitation d'Iris est située au milieu des oliviers à l'écart de la route longeant la mer, proche des commerces et d'une délicieuse taverne. Les appartements de la Luna Blu sont très jolis, bien entretenus et très propre. A proximité, des plages sauvages ou plus organisées, on a le choix. La propriétaire nous a donné de nombreux conseils de visites, plages et restaurant. Très sympathique, elle est aussi très discrète. Nous avons passé 12 jours magnifiques dans son petit paradis. Nous reviendrons... Merci!

Beautiful apartements in a lovely environment

We stayed for one week in a La Luna Blu apartement in the small town of Ferma near Ierapetra. Iris did welcome us really nicely and helped us during the stay with advices for day trips to discover crete. The apartment was really clean, spacious and lovely decorated. The olive trees and sea view were great. We enjoyed our stay!!

Panorama bellissimo specie dal nostro appartamento, il Gufo adatto specie agli italiani che con le lingue insomma...... Un consiglio: arrivate in giornata e noleggiate un'auto all'aeroporto. Un paio di giorni anche la moto per godervi meglio il paesaggio. Da migliorare la pubblicità anche dal lato opposto della strada costiera e la stradina che porta agli appartamenti specie per la sera anche solo con luci solari che già esistono all'interno della proprietà. Disponbilità della proprietaria eccellente, pulizia pure. Bello l'angolo libreria. Dedicato a chi deve staccare la spina dal mondo e reeelax. Cielo stellato e cicale saranno con voi. Laura e Franco
