Everything was as described. Spacious, plenty of room for our whole family including the dogs. We all had a wonderful time. The host was quick to respond to any requests we had while we were there. Great location to the beach, boardwalk, and restaurants! My whole family was very pleased with our experience here.

We had a great experience at the house during a long weekend. Honestly, I was a bit worried at first because the pictures were from 2016 and some reviews were lukewarm, but the house was in very good shape, just like the pictures show. The location is really amazing. Lots of restaurants and bars to walk to and very close to the beach.

This house is in a prime location. We walked to everything including the beach. Great spot! The house needs updating, though. The musty smell in the downstairs area was hard to take for long. A few updates would make a difference for guests to have a wonderful experience.

Never stayed anywhere as dirty, badly maintained and overpriced.Exterior grubby needs power washing. Landscaping overgrown, weeds, last seasons leaves. Garden not pictured - unattractive area mostly bare earth patch of grass w last seasons leaves and is unusable. Grill Filthy.Inside awful – nearly every curtain, mat, rug are filthy, stained and disgusting. Window coverings don’t block light but brown stains show well. AC works if you remove vent covers but they are vile - ended up buying fans. No soundproofing, beds creak & only one full bath for 4 bedrooms, bathtub floor slippery when wet that balance becomes an issue.Dischwasher full of stinking standing water and, when tried to use, stench of burning. Fridge stopped working - had to throw out nearly 300 in food - ended up eating out. Downstairs toilet runs, handle broken to use lift the tank lid and manually fiddle around to make it flush.Kitchen cabinets unorganized, full of junk & total mess. Pots, pans and trays almost unusable – dirty, non-stick coatings peeling off, covered in years of baked on grease. The cutlery and other utensils do not match and many were dirty or broken. The glassware appears to be leftover relics with nothing matching. The toaster and coffee maker are old and dirty. The closet door in the “master” bedroom is broken and most cupboards in the house are disorganized and full of junk. The sofa covers are torn and pretty much everything in the house needs replacing.

Many items listed untrue. Previous renters did not report same. Group’s behaviors inconsiderate despite extra considerations given. Early arrival - granted check in. Listing gives 2 onsite spaces and 1 pd street park pass. Day 1 on 4 cars parked onsite. 2nd free park pass granted. Renter stated desire to move to other property. Owner supported - provided Renter VRBO customer serv number to relocate. Renter did not move. Older property has been well maintained. Prof cleaned. Annual inspections by reputable A/C Co, 3 wks prior -no issues. Ext power washed in Spring. Lawncare prof done, scheduled at check in time therefore postponed. Repairs made as reported with Owner relying on cleaning staff to report. Bathroom vent reported blocked by Renter is rusted, not blocked will be cleaned. Vent size out of production and can't be replaceed. Full stainless steel cookware set onsite with stainless steel fry pan. Fridge/freezer checks before after rental done - found in working order each time. Verified working properly at check out. Possibly overstuffed unit blocked needed venting process. Dishwasher being replaced. 2 keys provided - only 1 returned. Renters ran over bronze prop address sign leaving support pole bent to be repaired/replaced by owner. Electric bill during stay excessively high. Owner has no intention of compensating renter. 25 yr history of rentals with false damage reports, occasions of theft of linens and kitchenware, appliances vandalized etc.

Picture of this house inside is not correct.

There were no sheets, no towels. The stove was smoking. There were only two full bathrooms and one half bathroom in one of the rooms that is supposed to be shared between 6 adults and 7 children. The second floor bathroom toilet makes a loud noise for 10 minutes, when you flush it. There wasn't enough space for everyone to sleep. The lady wanted me to turn on the water, in the other bathroom on the second floor. The rail coming into the house was loose. This house isn't a good choice for some handicap people. The backyard was unkept. We posted everything on TikTok. We packed up and returned the keys after owner insisted we buy sheets for our stay. We were forced to rent hotel rooms.

Great location, but that's about it

The house is within a short walking distance to the beach and to everything around the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk. There are lots of options for eating, shopping, and entertainment all within walking distance. Check-in was easy; the owner lives next door and we just arrived, knocked and picked up the keys. Communication with the property manager was very easy and she was very responsive. As for the house itself, except for the windows and the WIFI, nothing seems to have been updated in 50 years. Spiders and cobwebs are evident throughout the house, especially the lower level. There is nowhere to sit or relax outside; the only table and chairs in the back yard are covered in green pollen or algae and would have taken more effort than we wished to expend to clean them up. Huge magnolias shade the back yard (and dead leaves cover the ground) but if you have your own lawn chairs it could be pleasant. The air-conditioning was not working when we arrived (mid-June with a high of about 80 degrees F) but was finally repaired by late afternoon on the second day. The lower and mid/main levels were cooled well but we could not get the upper level, with four bedrooms, to a comfortably cool level for sleeping. We ate out for most meals, so we did not make much use of the kitchen except to use the coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator. Make sure you read the property description; you must bring all of your own linens (bed, bath, and kitchen) or rent them. Some reviewers missed this.

Beach Brithday Getaway

This was the first trip my friends and I were able to take after getting vaccinated and we could not have picked a better spot! There was plenty of space to spread out, the kitchen was perfect for us to cook big meals, and being so close to the beach was unbeatable. The owner and property manager were communicative and helpful, and checking in and out was a breeze. We had stayed here a couple years ago and will certainly be returning again!

Great stay

Communication is with the rental manager but any questions or help needed during the actual stay goes through the owner which was a tad confusing at times, but the owner is incredibly sweet and accommodating so it wasn't much of an issue. Plenty of room for a large group of friends or family, but definitely not a party house which we appreciated. Location is wonderful and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great beach rental!

This house was perfect for our family beach vacation. An easy walk to the beach, boardwalk, Rehoboth Ave, and a toddler playground. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. Plenty of space to spread out but still be together. The owner lives next door and is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to book again for next summer!

Family vacation in Rehoboth

Nice, large house for vacation with extended family-3 generations with three kids and a dog! Location was great with two-block walk to beach/boardwalk and town. Only cons, and these didn’t affect us much: 1. No deck/porch, but a side yard in the shade, but it was mostly dirt-not much grass. 2. No wash line to hang towels/suits, but we hung our own. 3. Outside shower was nice/convenient, but could have been cleaned out before our arrival (full of leaves) Owner lived next door and is very delightful/friendly. We had a great week and vacation!

Wonderful stay!

We originally booked the house for a 2-day volleyball tournament but due to the impending hurricane, it was cancelled. We ended up still going on the trip and having a fantastic time! Ellen was a gracious host checking in on us the perfect amount, the house fit 11 adults and 1 baby very comfortably. The house is very “vintage” beach. Quaint with lots of basics in the kitchen to sufficiently cook all your meals if needed. The location is prime! Walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and many restaurants. There was room for 3-4 cars in the driveway as well as metered and permitted parking on the street. We will definitely stay here again!

Great rental property

From the first contact with Linda (rental manager) to check-in with Ellen (owner), this was such an easy process. Both ladies were great to work with. The pictures on the web site show the property as is. No surprises at all. Great large space for families or friends. Looking forward to returning to Rehoboth and renting this house again.

Nice home, fantastic location

We only had an all-too-short weekend here, but the house was excellent for our needs (large, unrelated group). Plenty of beds, privacy for couples, sufficient shared space and all very clean. The location couldn't have been better for access to the main street with all its shops and restaurants. There wasn't much in the way of plates or silverware, but that was immaterial as we did all our eating out in town. The owner lives next door and was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
