Near Good Hikes and Views

The owner was kind and responsive. It’s a small space but has everything you need of your goal is to hike or be out. It was nice to come back to a real bed and make our own food.

Lake Cushman Cabin

We loved our stay in this cozy cabin. The bed was very comfortable and the futon was fine. The entire cabin was super clean when we arrived. Really appreciate this. Ron was friendly and the location is superb. We would stay here again!

Great little cabin close to Lake Cushman and Hood Canal

This cabin is so cute! It’s small, but great for a few nights. It is located right behind a house that is currently being remodeled, and is very peaceful and pretty. There is a grill, small fridge, and a microwave, but not a full kitchen, so pack food accordingly. The water was hot and potable. Ron was in contact before the stay to explain the check in process, and his wife checked in on us once. The only minor issue we had was the toilet not filling up on its own, but they’re going to have it fixed. We especially liked that we were able to bring our dog for an additional fee. Thanks for a great stay!

Cozy cabin

The location of the cabin is really great for exploring and hiking around lake cushman and hood canal. It is rustic and perfect for coming back after a day of adventures.

Clean, well cared for and fun.

The cabin is clean, well maintained, and comfortable. It is small, so don't expect the Ritz. All necessary kitchen items. Comfy sleeping. Great location for travel around the ONP and Forest. I recommend this cabin.

This little cabin is awesome.

The cabin is a small wonder. It's in such a beautiful vacation spot. The owner was so gracious to allow my big pup to stay there. . Every morning was coffee on the front deck and afternoons were spent enjoying some last of the season sun. For anyone wanting to take a nice peaceful vacation in a wonde ful little micro house, thos one is charming.

Great Stay

We had our vacation/long weekend 4th of July there and it was amazing. We needed some quite time to enjoy nature and this place was just what we needed. The direction is clear and the neighbors are very nice and friendly. The nature surround the area is just magical and heavenly. People were so nice and want to help to find good trails to hike. The cabin is small but it's perfect for two people. More than that might feel crowded but the backyard was perfect to hang out around and picnic all day with privacy and quite time. We recommend this place and definitely want to go back sometime in the future. P.S there is no connection around the area! My carrier is "T.Mobile" and I haven't had any access to connect at all times! but luckily we had sometime connection with my partner's phone "Verizon" .. but still even with that people were so helpful to provide help with directions there .. so we made it just fine :)

A Quiet and Relaxing Getaway.

We spent four nights at the property. It exceeded our expectation. It was clean, well appointed, comfortable, and a great place to have our small family enjoy the outdoors. It is located in a very beautiful area with old growth forests off many of the trails in Olympic National park 10 minutes from the cabin.There is a reasonably priced nice golf course nearby. Also there is a nice store for movie rentals and boat launch not far away. We are going to book a even longer stay next year!

Charm and convenience.

Super cute and cozy cabin stocked with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The yard was lovely and even had a spot with RV hookups for other family to join us! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood, close drive to all the fun and charm of Hoodsport.

Tiny, good location, not glamorous

Peaceful, quiet, and tiny (really, it's tiny and a bit cramped) little place to stay in the back yard of a house in a rural neighborhood. Easy access to hiking in eastern ONP and kayaking on Lake Cushman. There’s a porch in the front which was a fine spot to sit and drink a beer. The cleanliness was subpar and it was definitely not glamorous. At the same time, it had most things we needed to crash after our hikes and make breakfast in the morning. For over $100 a night (including fees), I would definitely recommend staying somewhere else.
