Nice Stay!

The studio is in a great location. Even though it's on the first floor, there are still a lot of steps and a bit of a walk from the parking area. It was not a deal breaker for us, but for those with mobility issues, it might be. The unit was clean and the shower water was hot and had good pressure - something that is appreciated after a day on the slopes, a round or golf or an adventurous bike ride. Even though we didn't use it much, the kitchen seemed to be well stocked with the basics - olive oil, spices, etc. There is a binder in the unit that indicated that we needed a parking pass, but after communicating with the Vacasa team, it seemed we didn't. The team was responsive and helpful.

Do not recommend!!!

Everything was broken in this unit. We were here on 4th of July weekend. This unit has no air conditioning, so expect to die in the heat. Also, the refrigerator is broken, so don’t buy food unless you want it to rot! Lastly, very poor communication with property management. 10/10 do not recommend

Efficient place in Northstar

Studio in Northstar was very efficient with a nice room flow and great kitchen. Also had a small balcony with a. functional grill. TV was functional but had a very year old Roku attached to it that was very slow. New ones are very cheap, owner should consider upgrading. The unit needs a deep clean, the space under the bed and futon was very very dusty and dirty. Sink faucet was broken and every time we went to use it with medium flow it would spray us. This was communicated by phone when we got there. When we arrived there were 5 cleaning ladies in our unit as they couldn’t decide if they finished cleaning the bathroom—not what you want during a pandemic. Both having been exposed to 5 people and wondering if your bathroom was clean. Lastly there seemed to be a pricing error as the room per night was $40 cheaper for the rest of the summer. I sent two emails to Vacasa regarding this and no response, probably the most disappointing of all. Actually in my 20 years of renting from VRBO, I’ve never not received communication from the owner. I wouldn’t rent this unit again from a Vacassa property.

Cute quiet place

It’s was a cute and quiet place. We mainly used it as a place to sleep as we were out and about during our stay. Cons: We could’ve used more info about the rec center and the Village at Northstar. And knowing before hand that there was no AC would’ve been helpful too.

Small but convenient location

This studio is a great place to stay at the Northstar resort. It's very close to the village and recreation center, a very easy walk. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is straighted adequately, and there were plenty of supplies (tp, blankets, etc). The wood floors are chilly do bring slippers but the heater works well and we were very cozy on our stay. Would recommend

Construction site

To my dismay, the building was being painted and they still rented it to me. The ladders/plastic tarps and paint smell were horrible. To add to it, I was unable to get into my rental for the entire afternoon and missed a day of biking because the crew was painting the entry and it took all afternoon. I called and the agency said they would get in touch with the property manager, and I never heard back.

Good location for access to village, nice kitchen and room. Had a great time in Northstar and it was cheaper than most other options. Furniture/bed were totally adequate but nothing fancy or plush. No closet space, if that is something you need. Would stay there again

Great location, cozy place

Loved the location, just steps away from the northstar resort where we were going for the autumn food and wine festival at a fraction of the cost of staying at northstar. Cozy place with a perfect little balcony to sit on. We’re from Florida so it was pretty cold to us at night and it appeared the heat hadn’t been turned on yet so it was a bit chilly at night but that wouldn’t be a concern to most others. Definitely recommend!

Beautifully Furnished Studio--Almost

I loved the unit. Conveniently located and comfortable. However, it needs some TLC. The TV would not work, until a Vacasa rep came the next morning and fixed it. The "sofa" (fold-out extra bed)is uncomfortable for sitting. There is no comfortable chair with a good reading light. On the positive side, the kitchen is completely furnished with full appliances. I would stay there again, if the improvements are made.

The initial appearance was nice but once you enter you will find many things that are broken. For starters the first step on the stairs is broken. Carrying in my luggage in the dark only to find the first step on the stair case drops down was far from safe. The shower valve, lamp, screen on sliding glass door etc.etc. Overall it was a decent place but could use some TLC.
