Restful Springtime Holiday

Perfect spot for a peaceful holiday in nature. Great location for walking trails and cycling. We also enjoyed spending time in Brevard. It's a lovely welcoming town with lots of creative vibes and a great bookshop. Earth Mountain Bicycle (bike hire/shop), Brevard Yoga Studio and Brevard Pottery are all highly recommended.

Bear creek vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. We unfortunately were evacuated due to wildfires in the middle of the week and Jan was very helpful, caring and accommodating for us as we had to leave abruptly in the middle of the night. Otherwise the property is beautiful. The cabin is spacious and feels like home and we loved the kitchen and location to near rivers and waterfalls.

Time to relax and reset

Bear Creek is very inviting, well stocked and comfy. The back porch is amazing for morning coffee and the fire pit is perfect to end the night with a cocktail. Exactly what we needed to visit with dear friends, relax and reset after a few crazy months.

Bear Creek vacationn

We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Creek. The back porch was delightful with our morning coffee and the daily visits from the hummingbirds host was very accommodating with all of our requests. We would stay there again for another month with without any hesitation.

Perfect Mountain Escape

What a great place

Long weekend with some lifelong friends. This is a great property, very comfortable and inviting. All my communications with the owners were seamless and all questions answered quickly and completely. Small things add up, and you can tell that the owners have done a lot of little things that add a bit of an upscale feeling to a very comfortable place. I wouldn't hesitate to plan another trip here.

Cozy home in the mountains

Peaceful Stay in the Mountains

The house was lovely. It's nestled in the side of the mountain with a tranquil atmosphere. Loved sitting on the back porch and enjoying nature. It's close location to the area's sights was a nice bonus. Will definitely consider renting this house again.

Adorable Cabin

We stayed here for a couple days while hiking in DuPont Forest. The cabin is very nice and has plenty of space for small groups. Jan was very responsive and easy to reach by text. We would definitely stay again.

Just be a little more specific or direction to take the garbage to the recycling center. It took us awhile to fined it. Just tell them to turn right at the dollar store. (They hide it well)

Lovely Mountain Location

We enjoyed our stay at Bear Creek Cabin. The cabin is charming, comfortable and cozy. The location is very convenient to many nearby attractions. Even though the cabin is easily accessible, it is also extremely quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch, enjoying the sounds of nature. Communication with the host was very easy and helpful. It was a truly restful vacation.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was a dream and we broke ground in 2007 to build Bear Creek. During construction, a friendly bear was seen many times at the creek watching as the construction progressed, so we named the cabin "Bear Creek". There is no better place to come and relax after working in the city. Bring your CD music and play your favorite mountain tunes! My personal favorite is watching the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee on the back porch. At night you will enjoy the mountain sounds, tree frogs and katydids will sing you to sleep.
