Villa Mannu is an independent, well-equipped intergenerational holiday home in a tranquil setting. It has easy access to numerous beaches, a harbour town close by, and incredibly scenic views of the sea and peninsula. It has an infinity saline pool WHICH IS OPEN BETWEEN JUNE AND SEPTEMBER ONLY.

New for 2024
Pets are now allowed outside season between October and April when the pool is closed. It is subject to a supplement and rules governing hygiene and cleanliness.

Over the past 14 years, we have had considerable success as the reviews testify. People have loved the tranquility, and views of our stand-alone home with small pockets of personal areas around the villa each with its stunning views and different temperatures. We try to provide a home from home where we can meet most family needs.

In June 2022 we opened our private salinated infinity pool! A 9x8m L-shaped infinity pool. Divided into three levels; level 1 for very young children (68cm depth), level 2 to sit and enjoy the panorama (1.2m depth), and a third deeper level (1.5m). It truly is an experience to swim in a saltwater-based pool and much nicer on the skin. As for the view from the infinity aspect? Well, just look at our photos.

NOTE: THE POOL IS OPEN FROM THE BEGINNING OF JUNE TO THE END OF SEPTEMBER.

The villa is air-conditioned and heating is provided in colder months (automated through the use of solar panels and a battery storage area at specific times of the day and therefore not 24/7. 24/7 use is an extra charge). It has 5 bedrooms (and 4 bathrooms two of which are en suite and the third literally next door). There are two upper-floor veranda areas with the most spectacular views of the coastline and the upper main bedroom has windows and patio doors where you have unbelievable views of the sea (the second double room also has sea views from the bedroom window). We also have a mezzanine area upstairs with books, TV videos, and PlayStation games for younger adults.

We have a new modern kitchen and island area with all amenities you might think of to make our villa the perfect intergenerational home for large and extended families.

The villa is located less than a 10-minute drive from the fishing town of Bosa on the NW coastline of Sardinia. It is a tranquil area within a hamlet of small houses, a church, and a piazza. Restaurants and bars are within a 15-minute walk during the tourist season.

It offers superb panoramic sea views lying less than 137m meters from the sea with access to a rocky beach. The whole zone has a 5-star rating for its beaches. Our sunsets are what ‘ALL’ our guests comment on as specific spectacular.

Sandy beaches are within walking distance and a short drive will take you to secluded and tranquil coves as well as beaches with nightclubs and discos in the town of Bosa.

It has modern amenities including a 9x8m infinity salinated pool (not heated and only available from June to the end of September) fiber internet throughout the house and garden area (up to 96/MBs ), air-conditioning/ heating, and entertainment systems. The villa has mosquito protection in ALL bedrooms. It is very much complete with all necessary household amenities and we can supply extra equipment for small infants and babies on request.

NOTE: A Video security camera covers the front entrance of the villa and is always on. Other cameras are removed when guests are in the property.

Great Autumn/Spring Winter Let for staycations; You are welcome for long-term lets. Please contact us for discounted long-term rates out of season in the Autumn and winter months. We however recommend only 5 persons for winter stays in light of the increased indoor living. Further pets are allowed during this period.

Amazing location with amazing views of the coastline and sea. Pool was perfect and really good size with nice poolside areas. Location is rural but good restaurants within 20 mins walking distance and short drive to Bosa. Lovely street food takeaway and local supermarket which was super friendly and very busy with local people. Villa had nice shaded areas as it was very hot when we were there, would have benefited from air con being on over night but it was exceptionally hot whilst we were there. Very nice and modern kitchen and spacious rooms throughout. Would have been nice to have a house clean half way through the stay as we were there for two weeks, we have had this service at previous Vrbo villas and it is a welcome touch to maintain high level touch. Overall a really nice stay and a lovely area to stay in, we were fortunate to be there whilst local festival was going on and we felt really part of the local community. Well worth staying here for a relaxing holiday and great contact from owner including advice on places to visit and support when WI-FI went down.

Just perfect!

The Villa is incredible. It’s fully equipped with everything you need to have a perfect vacation. The location is ideal ans the view is breathtaking. Paolo and Una are great hosts, very responsive and provide great travel tips and recommendations. (Thank you!) I would rent this property again for sure!

Perfect Villa for a large family or group

What a great holiday stay. We were two families staying at Villa Mannu and the villa worked perfectly with bedrooms arranged over both floors so we all had our own spaces. The beds are great and with each room having air con we were very comfortable. Kitchen is modern and well appointed with everything you need to cook a meal if you don’t fancy eating out. The pool is fantastic with plenty of sun loungers (often not the case) if you want the sun but also lots of spaces to relax in the shade. The table tennis table brought out the competitive side in all of us. Communication with Paolo was great with plenty of information before arrival so that we knew about the Villa before we got there and the occasional check to see that we were happy during our stay. A small issue with the pool was remedied quickly and without fuss. Local super market is great but Bosa has more choice and only a short 10 minute drive away. Having driven across the island to visit some beaches on the east coast (very busy) we loved coming back to the west coast and the relaxed , less touristy feel the local area where you really to get to see the real Sardinia. Be warned the recycling system on Sardinia takes a bit of getting used to. We got it wrong several times but if this is the only negative I can find about our stay it says a lot about how good Villa Mannu is. We didn’t want to leave.

Villa agréable, très belle vue sur mer

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette belle villa au calme avec une très belle piscine et une très belle vue sur la mer. Une mention particulière pour la prévenance et la disponibilité du propriétaire Paolo, qui a tout fait pour faciliter notre séjour. Un grand merci à lui.

im großen und ganzen ein schönes Haus. Aber luxus ist es keiner. Türklinken quietschen, Bettdecke ist nur ein Laken, Sauberkeit könnte besser sein, Küche, Besteck und Geschirr, war leider alles nicht wirklich sauber. Liegen, und Stühle sind einige defekt, Auflagen sind auch sehr schmutzig. Die Müllentsorgung ist eine kleine Katastrophe, und sehr umständlich für die Urlauber .

This is an intergenerational environmentally friendly villa for large families/extended families and staycationers (out of season with discounted long term rates) that want to come to a homely environment with all amenities. The views of the sea from downstairs and upstairs (on two verandas and from two of the bedrooms and then from the garden, terrace, and also from the kitchen and lounge area) are out of this world! Sunsets and sea within a tranquil setting. It lies in a small hamlet of beautifully set houses. that has an accompanying church and piazza. The kids loved playing in the piazza when they were younger. There is a real sense of freedom and a rural environment about the place. As well as private areas for you to read and talk. There is a basketball net and ping pong table as well as a pool to relax in.

Our maxim is transparency and knowing exactly what you get. Treat this family home like you would your own and be responsible for it. The price includes free offerings like fast wi-fi (100MBs+), AC in all rooms (exc bathrooms) and heating (heating and AC are on timers as well as the pool filtering to ensure the use of solar panels). We also provide you with complimentary towels for the beach, cool box, and a comprehensive house that is more a home than a rental villa. We have a vast array of in house entertainment, PlayStation 3 games and huge collection of DVDs just in case you get a bad day.

In the autumn, spring and winter (our favourite time) the house is fully heated and even has electric blankets if you want them (that was when we didn't have heating but now we do, so I doubt you would need them).

The area is truly outstanding with the main town not too far away and surrounding villages on the hillside. You can go for long coastal walks and come back to a private area and take a dip in the pool when you come to relax.

The reviews reflect just how many families have enjoyed our property. You will not be disappointed.
