Quit area with excellent view

This was a renovated second floor apartment in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the bay. The apartment was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and adequate kitchen equipment to make breakfast and simple meals. We were advised not to leave food out due to ants, but as soon as a food item was on the counter there was the presence of ants. The access to the place was a challenge. There was only taxi service from the Ferry to the Police station which left a good 15 to 20 minute walk to the apartment, with flights of old stone steps at the church and flights of steps at the apartment. We greatly appreciated Phillip meeting us at the church to help us with our luggage up the several flights of stair cases, orienting us to the island, and the complimentary homemade wine.

Thank you for your visit and review. Our house is in the nature and we do like to keep it clean all the time. We advise not to leave any food rests outside for the little aints. To provide the awesome sea and bay view we need to climb a few stairs to our location what makes the stay unforgettable to many. Taxi problem you had was because you did not respond to our hostess Laura as we instructed you prior arrival so that she, instead of you, arrange taxi for you telling him where to go to help you find us better and to avoid wondering around as we are a cosy house on remote island, not a hotel in the city. Taxi can come closser, depending on time of the arrival and traffic closing for the old monumental centre where we are part of. Also our location is traffic free 24/7 providing peace and safety even during the peak of the season, yet we are close to everything downtown and beach. That is what makes our place special. For our older guests carrying huge lagguage (you had many suitcases), we send Philipe to assist like it was in your case. Kind regards, the owners.

Sailor, fisherman & chef cook, originaly from the island, connected to it with hart & mind. I arranged our home with great love & passion for the local atmosphere and tradition knowing it from my youth growing on the Island. The interior is in my own unique maritime concept all breathing in the Mediterranean tradition and athmosphere of the Island soul, using natural materials from the Island, marely stone and wood and antique local furniture, to reflect the best of the Island & Mediterranean as it once was right in there with all respect and sensitivity to its authentic beauty. I made it the way I'd do it for myself, not as just another tourist apartment with Ikea room. I wanted to make warm unique island-like traditional home that feels like home to me every time I enter and I'd like same feeling to pass on to every my guest so that they take some nice memories from there instead staying in just another zimmer frei tourist apartment as there are so many like that. I know the taste is personal and differs to many people but still I took a risk, followed my own feeling and passion when making it the way it is. I tried the best I can to bring in the house & gardens the island's soul

Wake up by the old distant churchbell tower, within the Medieval sanctuary-style stone walls, open the windows and see our palm and oleander trees and our unforgettable sea & wide bay view, all in front of your eyes. Smell the sea breeze. Run down the ancient street stairway (5 min), take a cappuccino at "Lambik" garden/terrace and take 1st morning swim in the clear blue sea! Our home is built in traditional Mediterranian stone & wood, within the historic centre of the most popular island of the region, Island Vis (In 2017, Hollywood stars Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan were shooting "Mama Mia 2" musical-movie). Our location is safe & quiet, 24/7 traffic free, close to everything, never too close for comfort, with natural serenity even in the highest of the season, yet not too far from the centre, beaches & bays.
Please contact us by phone (call/sms/Whatsap text message) at least 24h prior arrival for all check in details. We have rosemary/levandel garden and terrace spaces, on 2 levels. They are all on our private property for share exclusively for our guests only, with awesome sea/bay view from all spots. We can organize boat/sailing/diving & fishing trips. Try our own wine!

この宿泊施設の特徴

Unforgettable sea/bay view. Close to everything you need to see, yet not to close for comfort. Even in the midst of the high season we provide traffic free 24/7 and around the clock silence even in the peak of the summer high season.
