Great location, good facilities and mostly comfortable

A few easy minutes to get to Aravet so ideal for skiing. This upside down apartment is located on the same level as the access road and two floors up on the back. You enter via a hall into an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. This is fine for two people or two people plus two young kids, however there is only one (rather uncomfortable over time) sofa and a small tv. Combined with a large table that easily fits 6 people and space can get a little limited. TBH a smaller table and a normal sofa (not a sofa bed) would make more sense as six would be very tight. The bedrooms are on the floor below as well as the bathroom. Bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom and shower are good (again a little tight for space). The overall finish is good and there are a few nice touches such as the very comfortable loungers on the balcony (we brought them in and used them instead of the sofa). The kitchen is a good spec and the WiFi is very quick (80/80 fibre). You can buy your bread in the very close Boulangerie (although not on Mondays for some reason), and the no.6 bus to Braincon is very handy for a better shopping experience at Leclerc (cheaper and lots to choose from). Communications with the owner and local cleaner area bit tricky as they don't speak much English. On the last night we were asked if we wanted to clean the apartment ourselves or pay 50 euros. This was a surprise as I don't think it had not been mentioned before. Overall a good choice for couples or smaller families.

Wonderful stay in this fabulous Apartment

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely apartment for two weeks in March 24. We are a family of four including our two daughters in their twenties. The location of the apartment is Fantastic , a short walk to the ski slopes and a short walk to some lovely restaurants and bars. The Apartment is very well equipped and we arrived to a lovely clean apartment. Communication was excellent with the owner from the beginning of booking to the end of our stay. I would recommend this fabulous apartment and we will definitely be returning.

Une super location

L'appartement est complètement conforme à l'annonce. Il est vraiment beau et très agréable, décoré avec gout. Il est chaleureux et a contribué largement à l'agrément de notre séjour. Très bien placé, il y a beaucoup de balades et d'activités à proximité directe sans avoir besoin de prendre la voiture. Il y a tous les équipements nécessaires et de qualité, la literie est excellente. Environnement très calme qui permet de profiter du joli balcon dans des transats hyper confortables. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Appartement propre, décoration convenable, bien pour 4 personnes maxi, si plus, cela devient limite. Salle de bains petite, les rangements pas suffisant. Bien situé, environ 10 minutes maxi ,pour rejoindre le pied des pistes. Pas de micro ondes ! Procédure d'arrivée a revoir!!

excellent séjour dans cet appartement

L'appartement est en tout point conforme aux photos. Très bien meublé et équipé. Très clair avec un charmant balcon pour manger dehors. Bonne literie. Avec un parking et casier à ski. A deux minutes des commerces de bouche dont une très bonne boulangerie. Nous recommandons cet appartement.

Excellent value ski lication

Had a great weeks skiing in a well located homely apartment. Although capacity was for up to 6 people in practice 4 was comfortable. The apartment was well provisioned with ample crockery, pots, pans etc. Bed linen was extra as was cleaning. Comfortable beds and large powerful shower. Only thing missing was a microwave. Nice balcony with view over the valley. Did not use ski lockers as these were away from the apartment In a garage and a bit inconvenient with icy/snowy access. We instead paid €49 to store at rental shop. The apartment was up a narrow sloping road which when cold was slippery under foot. Keys to the apartment were available in the post box outside. The local and atmospheric bar the Le Petit Serre Che was 20 m away. Well worth a visit or two! Equally close was a patisserie and local produce shop. 10 mIn walk to supermarket and 50m to recycling point. Nearest lift (Aravet) was 10 minutes walk uphill after crossing road. Overall the apartment was well located and bijou. would use again.
