My husband and I both grew up in Raleigh, NC, and met while attending UNC-Wilmington. After spending a few years in Seattle for graduate school, we found our way back to Wilmington, a place we had come to love for its coastal beauty, friendly people, and laid-back lifestyle.
When we found this house, we immediately felt its potential. It had the warm, homey feel we were looking for and plenty of space for our family to grow, even if it came with a heavy dose of 1970s charm! So we rolled up our sleeves and began a full renovation, starting from the inside out. As our family grew with the addition of two boys, we knew we wanted this to be a place where loved ones could gather, visit, and make memories.
I poured my passion into gardening, transforming the yard into a peaceful retreat that we hope you’ll find just as relaxing and enjoyable as we do.
Being a host is a joy for us. We love sharing our home and our corner of Wilmington with others, and hope you’ll feel right at home during your stay.

It’s just a short drive to the beach or downtown, making it easy to enjoy the best of Wilmington whether we're craving ocean breezes or a night out. After living in different parts of the country, we realized how special Wilmington is, and this area in particular felt like home right away. The neighborhood has a quiet, relaxed vibe, with friendly neighbors who wave as they walk their dogs or stop to chat while gardening. It’s the kind of place where you actually get to know the people around you. We love being close to both nature and the city—whether it’s biking to a local coffee shop, heading out for a beach day, or catching a concert downtown, everything we enjoy is within reach.
There’s a real sense of community here, and it’s been the perfect place to plant roots, renovate our home, and grow our family.
