Family friendly perfect location

The apartment is on the ground floor. The check in process was seamless. Anastasia's directions to access the apartment and wifi were very easy. The apartment is very clean and and decorated nicely. My kids, ages 10 and 12 were comfortable. One child was in the bedroom and the other one decided to sleep on the pull out couch. There was plenty of space. The view really is beautiful and the large deck is perfect. Our family felt very safe here. I liked that there was an indoor and outdoor pool. We only used the outdoor one. The weather was perfect the entire time so we did not need the indoor one. The beach was perfect! It was never too crowded and we rented the beach chairs with umbrellas on a couple occasions. The bar and restaurant located on the beach was also perfect. The apartment is walking distance to the new town and the strip. I felt comfortable with my kids walking around there. There is a lot to see and do. The apartment is centrally located and were were able to travel east and west with no complication. It's located about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Lisbon Airport. During our stay. I had questions for Mario. He was very quick to respond, thank you. We have enjoyed our holiday is this beautiful apartment and would recommend it. Thank you Mario and Anastasia.

Beautiful, clean condo close to small beach and amazing view of the sea.

The condo has all the amenities, was very clean and we had quick response from the owner and caretaker to any of our questions. The location was perfect for us. It was quiet, but just a short walk to the strip to Old Town. The hill to walk up to the main strip might be a challenge for people with mobility issues. Two beautiful pools, but neither is heated. That was our only disappointment. We would definitely book this condo again. It made our three-month stay in Albufeira very memorable. Obrigade Mario, Anastasia and partners!

Perfect!

Our first VRBO booking overseas, we were not sure what to expect. And WOW! Our expectations were not only met but exceeded. The location was perfect. You could walk to anywhere. Lots of excellent restaurants to chose from. We rented a car which made life easy. Don’t be scared, it wasn’t that bad but highly suggest renting one with NAV. Well worth the money. AND the highway transponder. (Google it) Spain’s border is under an hour away. With great beaches too. All first class highway systems. Taxis of any kind were readily available for all your local needs. Grocery stores were abound with North American standards. Great gluten free section. The pictures on VRBO do not do this condo enough justice. Modern. IKEA modern. And thoughtful. The bathroom was spectacular was huge walk in shower. Mattresses, linens, pillows were high quality and very comfortable. Tons of organized storage. Clothes hangers. The clothes washer was very handy. The kitchen had everything you need. Bright, spacious and organized. The tv room was perfect. Nice size tv. Even a HDMI cable to stream your fav stuff. Sound system too. And comfy pull out couch. The terrace was breathtaking. Great space. Tons of shade. Coal bbq which was a great addition. Loved the big round table. The condo was a nice size with no loud parties or noise of any kind. Did not feel transient at all. Friendly. Clean. And very cared for. Even the local cats who are super cute. You don’t bother them, they don’t bother you. The indoor and outdoor pool were clean. Chaise lounges and umbrellas provided. Nice quiet space. The beach/beach restaurant down the not so steep hill was in an amazing little cove. The condo has its own gated private entrance. The food was authentic and delicious. Well priced and friendly staff. English was not a problem. Anywhere. Thank you for an Mario for an amazing vacation. See you next September. :)

Clean, good location, quiet

The apartment was clean, quiet, and looks just like the pictures. We spent most of our time when at the apartment on the large patio. The patio had a large shaded area and an area for sun lounging. It was a short beach walk to Old Town Albufeira. Which has nice restaurants. We explored all of the Algarve and this was a great central location. We are not into clubs and nightlife but if that is for you New Albufeira is walking distance. The beach in front of the apartment was beautiful and clean. The only complaint I have is the pool was dirty so we did not get in it. It had dirt on the tile, the water was cloudy, and debris floating in it.

Property NEED Help

Location is beautiful. The place is in need of work, toilet is stain dirty looking, back door don’t lock, ants everywhere. Host is not fallowing COVID rules, they should leave at least hand soap. The towels are so OLD you can tell they are ready to retire. You will see Cats in the porch they are not friendly.

Beautiful apartment

Beautiful, modern apartment, which had everything we needed- Lovely comfortable immaculately clean beds and towels. Fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with washing machine. Heating/ air con in all rooms and an amazing view looking over the beach. Outdoor and indoor pool with lovely gardens . Sun loungers , table, sun canopy and BBQ outside on the apartments patio. Thank you Mario, it was wonderful.

Beach front apartment

"Booked a last minute holiday to this apartment 2 nights before going. response was good from mario. Location was just off a lovely little beach with a beach bar. Apartment down a steep bank on way down to beach. There is building works going on but did not impede on our stay when out on balcony etc. The view was amazing and we got the sun there all day from 8am until 7pm we hardly left the balcony. Apartment is lovely and modern and clean. Everything you need to cook. There is a fridge with water and ice maker. We weren’t sure if it was safe to use but have spoke to mario since and he said it’s filtered and fine to use. WiFi good and we took our amazon fire stick to use on tv. We didn’t use pool area so can’t comment the outdoor pool looked clean and the garden well kept. It’s about a 15 min walk up to the strip which isn’t our cup of tea really but a few lovely restaurants on the way up to it chilli pepper zoo bar and a lovely Portuguese one with live music on a thurs night cepa velha. It’s about a 30-45 minute walk along the beach to old town which is nice. Plenty taxi about to get back around 6 Euro also little tuk tuk cars about didn’t use them so don’t know what there like or cost. Area very quiet would definitely use again

Lovely apartment and amazing views!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mario's apartment. First of all, the communication with Mario and his point of contact in Albufeira - Doina, was brilliant and very prompt. We were given all the info before we even took the trip and once we arrived at the apartment Doina showed us around and explained how everything worked etc. The views from the terrace were spectacular and you could hear waves come and go. It was very peaceful and lovely. Apartment was very big and traditional and it contained a very modern fan with alternative speeds and our favourite - fridge with built-in ice maker and water cooler. There was also TV in the living room with English channels and movies. It was a little bit dark in the apartment, however we were mostly spending our time outside (as you do on holidays), therefore it didn't bother us. The pool area was gorgeous and despite the water being a bit cold, we really enjoyed relaxing by the pool listening to the waves. By all means the pool was not dirty, but it could do with a thorough clean up. The Aveiros beach was just a minute walk from the pool area and it was a lovely spot surrounded by cliffs and hills. There was also a little beach bar there, which served nice food and drinks. In the apartment there were clean bed sheets for us along with fresh clean towels, some juicy oranges and a couple of books to read in English, French and German. The kitchen was well equipped and it contained all the cutlery, pots, pans, chopping boards, serving dishes, plates, mugs, glasses, kettle, toaster oven with stove and microwave. Would be great if Mario could provide some coffee and tea for the guests though and perhaps some soap in the bathroom, however the shop is only about 10 minutes away, so there was no panic there. We simply went to the shop and got all the necessary items and done some food shopping so that we could have little tapas on the terrace sitting on our sunbeds. The only two things, I would suggest, need an improvement/attention in the apartment were the bath tiles grouting and seals- they need to be cleaned and refreshed; and terrace could be a bit more private on the right hand side - the family, who stayed in the apartment on the right, kept looking into our terrace area and apartment window. Other than that I wouldn't change anything else. It was a lovely place and very comfortable. The check-out was very flexible. We definitely recommend this place!! We are hoping to come back next year!
