Perfect family holiday

We had a family break, with seven of us staying at the house. Pedro met us at the airport, and escorted us the 40 kilometres to the address, having first taken us to a supermarket in order to stock up with provisions. He could not have been more welcoming and attentive to our needs. He is a very friendly person, and did all he could to help make our holiday a memorable one. The house had everything we could wish for, and was very comfortable. It is a short walk down to a stunning beach, and near to the town of Santa Cruz. We used the house as a base for exploring the area, and thoroughly enjoyed every day we spent there. On the final morning, before we left for Lisbon airport, Pedro came to check that everything had been OK, and we assured him that we had had a wonderful holiday, and wished him well. I would not hesitate in recommending this house to anyone seeking a holiday in the Portuguese sun.

La casa de Pedro es estupenda para grupos grandes, fuimos 9 personas y estuvimos muy cómodas. El salón grande con el comedor separado es una baza muy interesante. Pedro ha sido muy generoso y nos procuró un recibimiento encantador. Hemos estado muy a gusto en su casa.

Rarement eu un accueil comme celui de Pedro. Souriant, serviable, disponible, avec plein de petites attentions. Vraiment au top Quant à la maison, elle est très bien, très agréable, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour à 8-10 personnes. Plusieurs petits commerces à proximité bien pratiques. Et le coin est très sympa de façon générale. Une adresse à conserver et à conseiller Merci encore Pedro

The house was perfect for our get family get together.

Pedro was amazing, we wanted a hire car for our use so he met us in Lisbon then we followed him to the property. When it was time for us to go home he arrived at 8am with breakfast and then we followed him back to Lisbon airport. We had a great time meeting the locals in the shops, the bakery and the restaurants and they made us feel very welcome. It didn’t matter we spoke no Portuguese. House was clean and very well equipped . Thanks Pedro

Dias Espectaculares

Adorámos a estadia, que coincidiu com o reveillon, na casa do Pedro. Casa óptima, espaçosa, boa localização e com tudo o que é necessário para uns bons dias de lazer. Éramos 10 adultos e 4 crianças e não nos faltou espaço. De referir que o Pedro foi um excelente anfitrião. Sempre preocupado e disponível. A repetir, sem dúvida alguma.

Espetacular

Adorámos a estadia nesta casa, tem uma vista espetacular, perto da praia e um local sossegado. É numa zona muito bonita , que tem várias atrações. Gostaria de destacar a simpatia do proprietário e como nos deixou à vontade. É uma experiência a repetir, mesmo com um grupo de 10, havia espaço para todos, para estacionar os carros.. para estarmos todos na sala, ou na mesa de jantar. Tem um espaço dedicado ao churrasco, que foi ótimo. A lareira também foi muito útil e acho que para muitos foi o ponto alto. Não faltou nada. Não podia ter sido melhor.

very comfortable and beautiful house close to a really nice and natural beach

We stayed with a group of ten friends in pedro's wonderful house. The house has enough space to cook and eat with many people. The interior and especially the garden are very pretty. Another great feature beside the garden is a barbecue place. Pedro was very hearty and welcoming, he gave us a tour around the town and the beaches, gave us many good recommendations for places and restaurants. We were even allowed to eat the grapes and vegetables from the garden. The closest beach to the house is the most beautiful in the area, there are sandy cliffs, great waves and only very few people around. It's a great area to go hiking in the sand dunes, but also to learn surfing at on of the beaches of Santa Cruz, which I very close by. Over all we had an amazing time in the house and area and are very thankful that Pedro rents his house.

Superb house close to beautiful beach

This was one of our best vacations! We were kindly picked up by Pedro at the Lisboa airport, he assisted in the car rental and escorted us to the house. The house is in a top-notch state, absolutely clean, well-equipped and suitable for 8 persons at least. The temperature in the house is quite constant at about 20°C. A dish washer and washing machine were very welcome. After the introduction, he drove us around the village to get a first short orientation of which shops are available. Life in the house was very pleasent as all essential things are supplied, such as vacuum cleaners and other cleaning stuff. Waste can easily deposited in one of the nearby green waste containers. I very much enjoyed the gas stove which makes perfect steaks and fish, only rice tends to scorch at the bottom of the pot... In case of very windy nights, the windows and/or roller blinds can make funny noises, but one gets used to that. The walk to the ~1.5 km distant praias (beaches) takes around 15 min. The beaches are beautiful with fine sand and cosy beach bars. Be prepared to have some sand in your ears and salty taste on your tongue from the inlandic winds. There is a private beach nearby which is closer and the waves are somewhat more moderate. Nice places to visit within 30 min of driving. Lisboa is certainly worth a visit, driving time to St. Apolonia (near centre, with easy parking) in about 70 min. Finally, Pedro escorted us back to the airport. Pefect accomodation and support!

Très belle et très confortable location

Notre séjour d'une semaine a commencé par un accueil extrêmement sympathique et agréable malgré notre retard a l’arrivée , Pedro nous a donné quantité d'informations utiles et intéressantes sur la région. La maison est très plaisante et confortable, très bien équipée, très propre, décorée avec goût et sobriété avec jardin et légumes a disposition . Elle est bien placée pour visiter toute la région de Lisbonne et aller à la plage Excellente adresse

Prachtig huis, mooi gelegen, geweldige huisbaas

Prachtig huis. Het was zelfs nog groter dan dat het leek op de foto's. De eigenaar van het huis is zeer meegaand en meedenkend. Hij heeft ons zelfs opgehaald en teruggebracht naar het vliegveld in Lissabon. Prachtig strand met mooie kliffen op 5-10 min loopafstand. Ideaal voor een groep maar ook voor gezinnen.

I really can't say anything bad about this house. The owner, Pedro, welcomed us at the airport, altough we hired our own car. He showed us to the wat to the house, but first showed us the nearby beach (only a 10 min.walk away) with the beatiful sunset. A warm and nice welcome to a beatiful region. Then he showed us the house and it was really fantastic. Really everything you can think of is available : a dishwasser, a washing machine, lots of plates and glasses, towels, soap at every bath,...... We could even use olive oil, salt, and other spices. Very handy when you come by airplane and you cant transport too much. There is plenty of room in the house. In the evening, we could hear the sound of the ocean, very very relaxing ! the most populair item was the hammock, relaxing in the shadow of the flowers, a real Nice expercience. The house is also very Well locaties. A few minutes walk away, there is a very good bakert with very nice pantry, a little shop with food and a place where they sell fruit. The beach itself was nog very crowdy but every day there were life guardw from 10am till 7 Pm, a very safe feeling when swimming of surfing. If you want a nice vacation, with no unpleasant surprises, with everything promised to be true and with a very very friendly and helpfunctie owner : here it is.

Excelente casa para uns dias com amigos

Esta casa em Santa Cruz foi um verdadeiro achado para a nossa passagem de ano. É bem localizada e tem muito espaço exterior. Além disso tem boas áreas, com duas salas, uma delas com lareira, o que permitiu todo o convívio. Quanto a dormidas, houve lugar para todos. O churrasco nas traseiras foi uma mais-valia muito importante para as refeições. Aconselho esta casa para as vossas férias.

Des vacances réussies

Très jolies plages. Maison vraiment très agréable avec 4 chambres + 2 salles de bain. Parfait pour 2 familles de 4 et 5 personnes avec des enfants, jardin clôturé. Et surtout très bon accueil de Pedro qui remplace aisément l'office du tourisme !! Toujours pleins de bons conseils pour les visites.

great house near very nice beach!!

This is very nice and clean house, we had everything we need to spend very good vacations :) We spent there one week for 3 couples and 2 small children, and every one was glad. The grill is realy nice - we use it's almost every day, also the hammock was often used :) kids have some place to run and play around the home. Arrival and departure time was flexible. The Owner - Pedro - is very helpful, he shows us neibourhood (shops, beach and so on..) and find for us surf shool. Gave some info about trips around SantaCruz. We recommend this house for 100% !!! Thank you Pedro!!! and welcome to Kraków :)

Para repetir

Somos una familia de cuatro y pasamos unos días maravillosos en ésta casa, mucho mejor que en las fotos a pocos metros de playas increíbles. Lo mejor Pedro, su propietario, esta pendiente de todo lo que puedas necesitar y te da mucha información de todo lo que quieres visitar, y sin agobiar... Repetiremos seguro.

Gîte très apréciable et accueil très chaleureux

Notre séjour à 9 personnes plus un chien s'est très bien passé, le gîte est très complet, il ne manque absolument rien pour faire la cuisine et manger, même à nombreux comme nous l'etions et le propriètaire est très sympathique et accueillant, nous avons même eu droit à une petite visite du secteur à notre arrivée afin de mieux se familiariser au coin. Je recommande vivement cette location à un prix abordable compte tenu de la proximité avec le bord de mer qui est magnifique, nous avons même pu trouver quelques plages (vide) où le chien pouvait nous accompagner....

Tolles Haus - toller Vermieter !

Wir haben mit 5 Personen und einem Hund den 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt in diesem wirklich wunderschönen Haus genossen. Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung, sehr nett eingerichtet, sehr sauber und schön groß. Zu Fuß konnten wir mehrere Strände erreichen (auch einen für Hunde freigegebenen) und im kleinen Ortszentrum alles für den täglichen Bedarf einkaufen. Herausragend war der besonders nette Vermieter: bereits bei der Buchung beeindruckte er mit vielen Infos, die Formalitäten verliefen reibungslos und das allerbeste war die Ankunft: er begrüßte uns mit einem kleinen warmen Imbiss, nach 27 Stunden Fahrt ein Genuss!! Auch sonst war er per SMS stehts für uns erreichbar, gab Tipps und war einfach super-freundlich.

Eine wunderschöne Woche am Meer

Wir haben eine Woche mit 4 Personen in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Die Beschreibung auf dieser Seite trifft komplett zu. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht, ist vorhanden. Unsere Kinder mochten vor allem die Hängematte. Ein schöner Strand ist zu Fuß in einer Viertelstunde zu erreichen. Der Besitzer war sehr höflich und zuvorkommend: er hat uns am Lissaboner Flughafen abgeholt und zum Haus geführt. Danach bekamen wir sogar noch eine kleine Stadtführung, mit nützlichen Tipps, was Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Strände angeht. Wir haben die Zeit in diesem Haus sehr genossen.

A real suggestion

We stayed with 4 persons for 1 week at this lovely house. The description on this page ist totally correct. The house is very well managed, all you need for a relaxing holliday is available. Our kid loved especially the hammock. The owner, Mr. Pecas was very polite; he gave us a hearty welcome at the Lisoan airport and guided us to the house. He had a lot of tips for the surrounding and we enjoyed our time near the atlantic ocean very much. Also the people in the village were very kind. Family Süßenbach, Germany.
