Hi there! We’re Yong’en and Geoff, your hosts for Whispering Pines in Suncadia.
Picture this: a cozy cabin nestled amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of the Cascade mountains, where every inch of the forest has a touch of heart and a story to tell. About seven years ago, captivated by the rolling hills and natural charm of the area, we decided to call this place home. On a piece of land secured through determination, we brought our vision to life, guided by the blueprint crafted by the renowned late architect Rick Jones.
Now, the wood beneath your feet and the trim you'll run your fingers along inside our cabin have their own tales. We're committed to keeping construction local, avoiding mass-produced materials. The beautiful warm fir floor, sourced from a mill in Oslo, Washington, was salvaged from an old growth Doug Fir tree blown down. The cedar shingles hail from a mill next to our very own Olympic National Park. And the cabinets: crafted by a shop just 30 minutes away from home.
Drawing from my part-time role as a pharmacist, precision and care are not only principles in my professional life, but are also embedded in every aspect of your stay. From decor reflecting the cabin's traditions to personalized tips for exploring Cle Elum and Roslyn's hidden gems, our goal is to make your time here unforgettable.
Imagine the warmth of the fireplace, the fragrant scent of native plants, and the promise of adventure in the air. Our cabin isn’t just a house; it’s a down-to-earth experience - a spot to make memories and soak in the mountain spirit while enjoying all the luxuries Suncadia has to offer. So, ready to kick back and embrace the local vibes? Your mountain getaway is waiting for you!
Cheers!
