居心地の良いファミリーハウス（Casa Sao Jose）

I’m Paulo, your host at Casa São José. I’m Portuguese and I enjoy welcoming guests from different parts of the world and helping them feel at home during their stay in Figueira da Foz.

For me, hosting is about more than simply providing accommodation. I want guests to have a comfortable, relaxed place where they can enjoy their time together and discover this beautiful part of Portugal at their own pace.

Casa São José is a property I care deeply about, and I’m always happy to help guests with recommendations or practical information whenever needed, while respecting their privacy and independence

I chose this area because it offers a quieter and more relaxed side of Figueira da Foz while still being within easy reach of the city, its beaches, restaurants and attractions.

What I particularly enjoy about the neighbourhood is the feeling of space and calm. It is a pleasant place to return to after a day at the beach or exploring the region.

For guests travelling by car, it also provides a convenient base for discovering not only Figueira da Foz but other beautiful places in Central Portugal

What makes Casa São José special is the combination of space, privacy and character.

It is a large private home where families and groups can genuinely spend time together without feeling crowded. With four bedrooms, three bathrooms, generous living areas, a large kitchen and outdoor space surrounded by greenery, everyone has room to enjoy the house in their own way.

The property has the warmth and personality of a traditional Portuguese family home, with classic furnishings and spacious rooms rather than a generic, identical holiday rental.

Whether sharing a long meal, relaxing in the living areas or enjoying the garden, Casa São José is designed for one of the best parts of travelling together: creating time and memories with the people you came with.
