Monte da Retirada is an secluded property with 2.3ha in the heart of the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park. It is a unique experience in Nature. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping, walking around the property, watching a vibrant sunset, a night of starry skies and dazzling moonlight.
The property was designed to provide maximum privacy and confort, and each House is a unique experience with personalized decoration, restored antique and vintage pieces. In the bedroom, bedding produced sustainably, with natural materials for a harmonious and peaceful night and soft towels. The kitchen is fully equipped, and also has an oven, Delta capsule coffee machine, dishwasher, blender, electric citrus juicer, barbecue utensils. The living room has a TV with Netflix and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation.
Children have not been forgotten and have appropriate dishes, travel cots, bathtubs, table chairs, baby floats and games.
The exterior of the property is prepared for walks, private terraces for barbecue, dining and leisure, a communal surface swimming pool with a diameter of 4.60m and an outdoor shower, sun loungers and parasols, inviting you to "dolce far niente".
For busier days, just a few minutes away, the beaches of Vila Nova de Milfontes, Furnas, Almograve, Zambujeira do Mar, Malhão, Aivados, Pessegueiro, Porto Côvo and S. Torpes, offer both the quieter waters of Rio (Mira), and of Ocean (Atlantic), with excellent waves. There is also the possibility of visiting lagoons and waterfalls, taking mountain biking trails, hiking on the Rota Vicentina, taking surfing lessons, paragliding, canoeing or paddleboarding along the Mira River, windsurfing, horse riding.
The region's cuisine is excellent and the restaurants in the area delight those who enjoy good food with fresh regional products.
