We needed a COVID break for my wife who cares for her aging parents and also for me, a beleaguered business owner. We felt this was the perfect get-away. We brought our own food (amateur home chef) and never went out for a single meal. The remoteness was lovely although there is a well traveled road which the ATV's on the island cruise day and night, right next to the cottage. Hunters woke us up one morning with a fusillade of gunfire for a couple of hours. But on weekdays when the weekenders leave, there is nothing more quiet and relaxing than this place. It is very homey and well cared for, with all of the modern comforts except one... Wi-Fi. That is something most folks will not want to be without. We found plenty to keep us occupied but no Wi-Fi is something to consider when booking the property. The property was just as advertised and while the cleaning crew didn't leave it perfect, it was good enough for a cottage on an island. Yep, it was just fine. This owner has a precious piece of heaven they are willing to share, so I have nothing but thanks for letting us visit.
