On arrival at what was to be our home for the next 10 days we were greeted by Mauro. We already felt as if we knew our host as there had been several email exchanges between us. Mauro was just what we expected; friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. He gave us a tour of the complex and the surrounding area and looked after our every need.
The apartment complex looks a bit dated but our apartment 118 was clean, spacious enough for 3 and had everything, I mean everything, we could possibly need for our stay. A fridge stocked with a section of drinks, a bowl of fresh fruit, condiments, towels, washing up liquid, fresh coffee, shower gel and plenty of toilet rolls to name but a few. The apartment was lovely and cool with air conditioning and there was a TV, laptop and Xbox. Our son was pleased with the WiFi connection so he could keep in touch with his girlfriend.
The pool and pizzeria is reached by a short uphill walk, both have fantastic views.Always plenty of space in and around the pool. The lake can be reached via a private underpass and is lovely for an early evening dip. Garda itself is a very pleasant 15 minutes walk along the promenade.
Set in very pleasant surroundings, a great location and a wonderful host, what more could you ask for.
