We had the best time and they weren’t kidding about the beautiful view! We chose a bad season to attempt to ski in and ski out from this location though and it was a hike to and from Heading Home. It’s tough to tell if it truly would’ve been ski in/ski out with snow, but the slope was close enough to walk to. Space was nice for gathering with two families of grown ups and hand-feeding the deer each evening was a lovely bonus! It was unseasonably warm when we visited so we didn’t get to try the fireplace, but we did get to try the fans upstairs! All in all, a great visit!

We absolutely loved this cabin, it was in good shape and clean. The fact that it was so near the ski trails made it very convenient. The host was very nice, and responded quickly to my messages.

Great mountain house with views for days

Really enjoyed the house and location adjacent to the ski slope. Beautiful views across the valley and a good setup for a large family or multiple families. Easy communication and answers to the few questions we had while there for Spring Break. Thanks!

Beautiful view and house!

We loved the house and the view was amazing especially on Christmas when it snowed!The drive up to the house was steep but beautiful. The 5 minute walk to the ski slope was a bit challenging but definitely worth it!

Great location for ski trip

It location only a few steps from Heading Home slope, which was a big plus for my trip. Very reasonable prices compared to other properties nearby. It may need some updates, but overall I was satisfied with the stay.

We are a family of 5 from Wichita and fell in love with Angel Fire years ago when our kids were first beginning to ski. We love to travel and try new things but keep coming back year after year to Angel Fire. We play hard during the day but also look forward to kicking back and relaxing after a great day of skiing or mountain biking. Tons to do around these parts, but it's great to have a place to stretch out and enjoy just being in the mountains.

This cabin sits in a perfect spot at the top of the mountain for an unbelievable view to the West. Wheeler Peak and the valley are just stunning. Seeing God's handiwork from here is simply awesome! And being next to the slopes will make your day when you stay at our cabin. What a thrill to be able to walk up the hill 150 ft to the slopes and skip the crowds and parking at the base of the mountain. Then after a fun day of skiing, skip the crowds again and walk back to the house to kick off your boots and fetch a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

The cabin comfortably sleeps 12 to 18 people with room to stretch out and with an updated kitchen and internet/wifi access you'll find that it will keep everyone happy.
