Our family enjoyed a weekend retreat. The cabin was easy to locate near the farm and felt cozy with the wood stove glowing. The small kitchen had all we needed, and waking up to lake views from the balcony was a pleasant way to start each day. We explored nearby trails for quick hikes.

The bunk bed worked well for our kids, while the main bedrooms gave enough room for two adults each. The bathroom shower stayed hot and steady, and having a washing machine close by made longer visits simpler. The covered balcony offered shade during sunny afternoons.

Arriving was fast and effortless in under two minutes. Inside, large windows showed beautiful views over Oldenvatnet next to the fireplace. The kitchen included everything needed for preparing easy meals alone. Nearby walking trails allowed us to pass time without driving.

Cabin is cozy, warm and comfortable. Interior remodel is great. Exterior landscaping is a little misleading when you first arrive. The view from the decks will overcome any landscaping concerns. Morning coffee overlooking the lake starts your day out right!Sauna/towels and patio fire pit are a must do! The view out the sauna window is tremendous. This is an extra fee and not part of the cabin.MUST HAVE LOCAL CURRENCY CASH: All the incidentals in the cabin (electricity, sheets, towels, other) must be paid for in cash on your last day. Many thanks to all the local people supporting our cabin adventure!

The house is very nice, the landlord is kind and helpful, the landscapes are awesome but some details make me feel uncomfortable to recommend this house, First of all the house is located in the very heart of a farm, Thus prepare to be immersed into a busy live of locals with very limited space for children tp play around, if you travel with kids, Besides, there is a quarry on the opposite side of the lake, which can be annoying during business hours and something not what you want to see on your holidays, Overall I would probably not be eager to recommend this house unless you travel in a group of 6-8 people, Otherwise, the house is too expensive, There lots of accommodation options in the area around,
