Fint hus, uden at være prængende. Fungerer godt til 2 familier. Nærområdet lidt kedeligt, men fin udsigt fra huset. Personale imødekommende og rare, men taler kun spansk hvilket er lidt udfordrende. Ikke ret meget service i huset.

Enjoyable stay at the villa - great outdoors space for eating and relaxing. Really enjoyed the BBQ area. The indoor space was great for a big group, with a big living room and dining area. We also found the proximity to near by attractions great - we were able to order Ubers to the villa to go out in Malaga one evening. However, it is worth noting that there wasn’t enough cutlery for all 14 guests and we bought some extra chopping boards and utensils for the villa ourselves. The aircon was unreliable/ leaked in some rooms. And some of the old sun beds were a bit tired and we not very useable.

Very private area and villa as described. only downside the owner was very slow with response, therefore didn't find out insurrection for picking keys up etc until we actually landed, however Cubo ask you to message one week before which we did with a follow up message but no response

We loved our stay at Rafa's place

We loved our stay at Rafa's place. He answered every question we had and his english was a lot better than our spanish which helped us understand the finer details regarding check in, the property and the area.The closest shops were around 10 mins away in Coin which was easy to get to with a hire car and we were spoilt for choice when it came to beaches nearby (closest was around 35 min drive).We'd definitely consider coming back for our next stay in the Costa Del Sol.

Avec ma petite famille nous avons passé une excellente semaine. La maison est sublime, propre, grande et fonctionnelle. Pour 10 personnes c'était parfait. Le jardin est magnifique, la piscine aussi. L'endroit est très calme, entouré de verdure et surtout d'oliviers. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible. La maison est bien placée pour visiter les alentours sur une journée ( Séville, Grenade, Nerja, etc...)Merci !

A lovely big villa but had a few maintenance issues. No plugs for the bathssinks. A welcome pack with the essentials would be beneficial. We had to buy dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and other cleaning products.It would be helpful to have a sign for the villa on the main road as it was very difficult to find.Overall a comfortable and lovely stay.

Fantastic week in a beautiful location

The property is amazing. Very spacious, well equipped, very clean and tidy. The pool and gardens are fantastic. Beautiful views over the valley and not far from the beaches. Rafa couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. Really can’t think of anything!

A lovely home in the hills

A beautiful home with amazing views of the mountains. Secluded enough to feel like a proper getaway but near enough to Malaga that you’re only a short drive from lots of things to do. The owners where very welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful time.

Cortijo La Hilacha is een authentiek Spaans huis voorzien van alle basiscomfort voor een verblijf in het binnenland van Spanje dichtbij de natuur. Je kan in alle rust genieten van het zwembad en van de prachtige tuin. Op zeer warme dagen in de zomer is de airco binnen een aangename afwisseling. Ook een prima uitvalsbasis voor daguitstapjes naar bv. Nerja, Mijas, Marbella, Coín en veel meer. Supermarkten liggen op een 15 minuten met de auto. Een auto hebben is wel sowieso nodig om iets in de regio te kunnen doen.

Lovely Large Villa with Fantasic Views

The villa is very large and plenty of room. Beds very comfortable. The owner was very friendly ( thanks google translate we got along fine). The pool looked great and did manage to get into it at end of April. The views are fantastic looking over Alhaurin el Grande. Lots of storage space Our suggetions of improvement would be: A better shower upstairs The grass around pool needs tending to as full of burrs which stick in feet and all over the poor dogs. The main gate is to heavy to keep opening and closing (need the electric to be attached and repaired) Villa needs to be fenced securely as 1 of our dogs did manage to get out. Seating on balcony upstairs Vacum Cleaner

We had a brilliant stay at the villa

We had a brilliant stay at the villa. We were travelling with 2 toddlers and they loved the pool area, as did we: The pictures do not do the view justice, it is beautiful! You definitely need a car to get around as it’s a little off the beaten track - Marbella and Malaga are each a 30 min drive. The pool and gardens are incredible and the house has all you need - including things such as salt and pepper, which is great. I would say to bring good bug repellent as owing to its location in the hills, and with lots of foliage, there are mosquitoes and flies around.We would definitely recommend this villa!
