We had a fantastic time in Italy, the residence Eden Gardenia 12, was really easy to find! The residence was spotlessly clean and quite roomy, we are a family of 5, 3 of which are teenagers and although 2 of the 3 bedrooms were in loft space they accommodated us adequately. The view from the spacious balcony was outstanding! Stunning scenery which we never tired off! The pool was a life saver because of the heat and we used it and sun loungers every day. We ate a couple of times in La Piazzetta in the main square, this was ok if you like pizza's, and my husband had the rooster which was exquisite! The Gelato di Zoe was a favourite with us all and very conveniently located by the fountain in the main square. We took the ferry to Bellagio and Menaggio, this was a fun day out, although very hot waiting for the ferry back as very busy in Bellagio! A very pretty village with lots of touristy shops. We also went to Como, a lovely town with lots of shops! The Duomo is quite impressive for such a small town! We also went to fox town, not very impressed as very expensive retail outlet! Took a trip around Lake Lugano and had snacks at perlezza, very pretty little village at the head of the lake! I would use again as overall I was very happy with the property and service provided!

Nice spot, basic apartment

The property sits in a nice spot and has fantastic views, but seems to be badly managed. The kitchen is certainly not fully equipped, as there is no oven. OK for simple breakfasts, but not for real cooking. No possibility for barbecue. I suppose floors are not washed very often as your socks/feet became instantly black. Upon arrival, also microwave, wineglasses etc. were missing. TV not working, and there were no bath towels (only tiny hand-towels) .. and it took two days for the host to react/rectify! On the positive, pool was ok, and views certainly great. The village is close, but the steep hill is tough to climb up, so not for anyone with any disabilities. You certainly need a car, as the village shop is not great.

Don’t rent an apartement at Eden Residence

we rented this apartment solely because of the location and the amazing views of Lake Como. When we arrived at the apartment we found that thirty meters from our balcony was placed a 40 meter high crane which completely spoiled our view of the lake and the mountains. there was nothing described about the crane's presence, although we did get information from people in the area that the crane has been standing there for several years. In addition to the crane ruining the beautiful view, construction workers started their work every morning at exactly seven o'clock, so when I sat on the terrace at seven in the morning and watched the sunrise and enjoyed the calm in the morning and my morning coffee, I was disturbed by a violent noise from craftsmen and crane. we contacted the rental company and complained about this but never got any feedback. we also complained that two of our sunbeds on the terrace were broken and that we were missing an adapter. We received an Adapter after two days and after two days the deck chairs were picked up and we were given two new chairs. we also complained that the pool was very dirty, it was cleaned five days after. We also complained about our oven which did not work, it was never made and we got no response to our complaint. The television could not be used as the cord could not reach the Adapter. We did not have Wifi during the entire stay, although we pointed this out repeatedly, which meant that we had to pay for our Roaming for a whole week. All in all, a thoroughly bad experience where we felt cheated and badly treated. This is a false product name and completely poor service. We expect a big reduction compared to the fact that we paid a lot of money for renting the apartment. Regards Bent and family

très bon séjour

Appartement très agréable, grande terrasse très bien équipée, vue époustouflante (malgré une grue cet été là qui gâchait un peu le paysage). Piscine très agréable. Nous avions tjs des transats disponibles. Argegno très bien situé pour visiter le lac de Come. Seul bémol : literie très moyenne

Residence Eden Gardenia 12

Very good pre-travel preparation, prompt answer to emails, easy to find based on directions etc. The house is in a good condition, so was our apartment. Pool, nice, could have been 3-5 degrees warmer, but kids enjoyed it. My wife / I particularly liked the balcony / view. We had a number of v nice mornings / evenings here. We already recommended the property to friends and we’d definitely consider it again when staying in the area again.
