I am very surprised about your negative comment. Due to a medical emergency of a family member of yours at home in the UK you had to travel back on the day of your arrival. You even did not unpack your hired car and did not use the house at all. Only the pool was used by your teenager kids to bridge the time until your flight back in the evening of the same day. You only stayed 1-2 hours in the house and not even overnight. Your critics are just not correct. The air condition is working very well even on that hottest day of the year and all our descriptions and fotos are absolutely correct and this is stated by all visitors during the recent years. Details: We were happy to enable you on your request an early self check in before noon because you were already staying in the area the day before and it would be great if the kids could already use the pool. Cleaning was finished at half past eleven and you made our standard self check in at noon. So approximately 30 min. before your arrival we switched on the air condition on low speed and 20 degrees to ventilate and cool the house a bit because it was the hottest day of the year with 42 degrees. On normal days guest would switch it on themselves if they needed it at their time of arrival. When you arrived you already knew that you had to go back to UK the same day later in the evening due to a medical emergency in your family at home but did not tell us. When I was coming over after the self check in for a short personal welcome chat you did not mention your intention at all. I was just wondering why you did not even unpack your car. You informed us about your departure by a short text message only the following day late morning. Moreover, you left the house in the late afternoon with the door keys in the door for all the night. In the afternoon, while you were in town the 3 teenager kids were enyoing the pool and really loved it as you texted us the next day. The next day we found the house completely unused. Obviously, you did not even spend an hour there I guess. Only some pool towels were used and put properly aside. You did not even adjust the power of the air condition. The air condition was untouched as we left it the day before on low speed and 20 degrees. So how can you assume that the house is generally warm without trying to cool it down. At your arrival cleaning was just finished (early check in) and air condition was just put on on lowest speed to have a slight cooling when arriving on the hottest day of the year. Furthermore, the location of the air condition is very well and accurately described to be located in the master bedroom and cools down the dining, living and kitchen area while the room door is opened. Of course, you have to switch it on on medium or maximum power for some time during such a hot day which you did not do. Your comment on this is just not accurate. The description of the sleeping facilites are very precise and we put a lot of attention into this because customer satisfaction is of high importance to us and we care a lot about it by doing all services to the best possible level but as well to grant correct understanding of what the house is like and to prevent that a guest is disappointed. With lots of fotos we show the situation as it is. There is nothing wrong and no special optical adjustments. All visitors of the past years are very satisfied with the accuracy of our descriptions of this house and all the other houses which we operate. If someone still has questions or needs further information regarding layout or anything else, we are more than happy to answer these questions and give advise. We recommend the occupancy of 2 to 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 4 children. All constellations are possible depending on the age and habits which our guest themselves know the best. So they can make up their mind themselves by reading the detailed description. That you say the maximum occupancy is 3 to 4 persons is your very subjective opinion. It wonders me that you give the worst rating we ever got on this house. A house which is usually very much appreciated by our visitors. This astonishes me even more since you visited the place for only a couple of hours. Therefore, it needed my detailed owners comment to enable the careful reader to better understand this lacking substantial background of your comment.

So we decided to install a well and fast working system (Starlink) in our Trulli Perla della Luce which allows you even to do online work on a comfortable level in a lovely and relaxing surrounding. Sure my administrator who passes by three times a week anyhow to clean the pool or myself are available on demand 7 days a week if there occurs any problem of any kind. Ceglie has a good mix of local inhabitants and tourists. In the evening it awakes and there are plenty of restaurants and bars offerring a wide range of food and drinks.
