What a great place to stay! Joe proactively reached out to make sure I knew the house was ready and notnto hesitate and ask if I needed anything. Its always nice when a host is open and communicative.The place is roomy and lofty with all of the amenities you would need. Instructions were clear and it was clean upon arrival. I would recommend this stay to anyone and everyone. It was very comfortable. Thank you Joe!

Very good property! Lots of sleeping space, lots of cooking space and supplies, and clean. Joe is a great host. This was the fourth year my buddies and I made the Combat Cabin our headquarters for a week of fly-fishing. Looking forward to our return in 2026.

Great place and location

The cabin was exceptionally clean and much larger than I expected. It’s a great location with access to a lot of world class trout water. Getting in and out of the cabin was extremely easy and the check-in / check-out process could not have been more simple. The kitchen is large and very accommodating for a big group as is the dining room and living room area. The mudroom and the back of the cabin is a bonus to help keep wet, waders and wading boots out of the house.The host is very hospitable and welcoming. He is also very responsive and easy to reach. I highly recommend staying here if your travels find you and Twin Bridges, Montana.

2024 Fishing Trip

Property is clean, location is terrific for a fishing base camp. We enjoy the local market with fresh beef for the grill. Host is excellent at communicating when the hosue is ready. We have been staying with Joenfor a few years now and hope to keep the annual tradition in tact in 2025.

Great property!

Joe is a great host! He let us know when the unit was ready early. He checked in with us during the week to make sure everything was ok. This is the third year we have stayed with him to fly fish the area rivers. It is a PERFECT house for groups to stay when exploring the area. See you again next year!!!

Nice place to stay and fish locally

The house is huge, lots of space. Very well equipped, kitchen was well stocked with condiments for cooking. Cozy and quiet, would definitely come back here. Thanks Joe!

Great proximity to multiple rivers.

Great trip enjoyed by 4 college buddies. The house is as described in the listing with a great centralized location to multiple rivers. Twin Bridges is a quaint, peaceful spot. Heads up, it's not completely necessary to load up on provisions before heading to town. The Main Street Market is extremely well stocked with food and adult beverages.

This project was completed with many recycled items and is super-insulated, with led lighting and efficient water heaters. I enjoy messing around in the mountains on skis, cutting snow cornices(The BackcountryBomb is an invention of mine), painting and living in tipis, making structures out of recycled things, and am getting the garden thing dialed in, slowly. When the mood strikes, I will go Combat Skiing.

Twin Bridges is surrounded by the Tobacco Root, Ruby, Highland and Pioneer mountain ranges, with the Beaverhead river running through. This project was completed in just over a year by Joe, a few friends, and much wood from old barns and houses being torn down and reassembled in Twin.
