宿泊施設：駐��場からのフランス窓は、大きなオープンプランのキッチン/食堂と居間につながっています。木製の床、むき出しの屋根付きトラスのある高い天井、そしてたくさんの窓が素敵な明るいエリアです。 一体型DVD付きテレビ、独立し��CD /ラジオ、およびi-podドッキングステーションがあります。 新しいキッチンには電気コンロとコンロ、洗濯機/乾燥機、食器洗い機、電子レンジ、冷蔵庫、冷凍庫が付いています。
階下：2つの良いサイズのダブルベッド��ームがあります。1つはキングサイズベッド、もう1つは電気シャワー付きのバスタブと洗面台、��イレ付きの専用バスルームです。 セカンドベッドルームはダブルです。 両方のベッドルームはモダンなオーク材の家具で、ワードローブで建てられています。 シャワー、トイレ、洗面台付きのセカンドバ���ルームもあります。
リクエストに応じて、ベビーベッドとハイチェアを利用できます。
外装：外にはテーブルと椅子が置かれた小さなデッキエリアがあります。 ここから自転車やカヤックを保管するのに理想的な小さな舗装された場所へと階段が続いています。

Beware!

In need of some TLC. Outdoor furniture needed staining. Windows needed cleaning Second bedroom needs much attention. One plug no mirror pillows too soft that they collapsed under pressure. Not enough room. Drawers needed waxing and were noisy. Kitchen ok. WiFi ok. The two mile road to Dittisham was not for the faint hearted.

Nice to be back

Very comfortable repeat stay. Just like to point out that the smoke alarms were disconnected. I replaced the lower floor one but the upper floor connection set the alarms going! Juliet balcony door frame is separating at base due to wet rot. Hopefully sorted for next year

Great location for short break,shame about some accommodation shorcomings.

Living accommodation spacious,nicely presented and well equipped. Kitchen equally well equipped with a good range of appliances. Would benefit from better instruction on use. Downstairs master bedroom was of a good size with adequate furnishings/ storage.En suite was a good size, but short on space for toiletries etc., no hooks for hanging garments, no toilet roll holder and the towel rail (only place to hang towels) only heated if/when main central heating came on. 2nd bedroom not of a size to be fairly described as an adult double. Has 2 single beds which virtually fills the whole floor space making it very difficult to get on/ around side of the beds and the wardrobe doors could only be partially open as a result. Half the wardrobe contained a water tank, the only shelf was filled with spare bedding and the floor of the small usable half was filled with christmas decorations. Additionally there was a small bedside table and in a recess a chest of drawers, but no mirror. The 2nd bathroom was minimally equipped i.e nowhere to hang towels etc; no antislip shower mat; no soap dish in shower and toilet roll holder. Outside table & 2 chairs were in very poor condition.The downstairs paved area & the outside of the property generally would benefit from some TLC.

Lovely stay in a peaceful cottage

We arrived after quite a long journey and thoughtful touches like tea and milk left for us. Lovely clean cottage and grounds for 2 dogs with a water view. Two bathrooms were great! Very clean linen and would stay again. Thank you!

Short break in Dittisham

Barnfield is in such a great location, especially if you want to get away from it all. So peaceful, and stunning views of the River Dart from the communal gardens. Everywhere is very well kept around the site, and it is also the perfect base to walk down to the river at Dittisham, where you can catch a ferry to both Greenway & Dartmouth. We have visited Dittisham many times, and all agree that Barnfield was one of the best accommodations we have stayed in.

Lovely stay again at Barnfield.

Perfect for us as we love our boating and being by the river is great. Super property with everything we need and very clean and comfortable. Love coming back to Dittisham as it is a very special place , so beautiful.

A great base for a few days messing about by the river.

This is the second time we have stayed on this complex and we returned because of its excellent location. We enjoyed being able to walk into Dartmouth and take the ferry back and also took walks into Totnes and around the Greenway estate. The Ferryboat Inn was a great place to take refreshment after a day out walking. This property has everything you need for a short stay. The second bedroom is small and when made up as a twin offers no storage so it's necessary to live out of your suitcase. The towel rail in the main bathroom doesn't work so on chilly April mornings it was particularly cold. Thankfully there was always plenty of hot water. We found the timing of the heating impossible to control so the property was always cold in the mornings. The bin in the kitchen needs replacing. None of the above would put us off booking again though we might book at a warmer time of year.

The accommodation is comfortable and set in a very convenient location to explore South Down. Dittisham is a charming village.

Barnfield is in a lovely location and the property is in good condition inside. One or two problems - bathroom heated towel rail not working and a mirror would be useful in the other bathroom. It would have been nice to have a welcome pack!

A lovely spacious property in a peaceful setting with great views. We had a restful and enjoyable stay. Let down by a few minor quibbles, particularly if preparing your own meals, some of which we notice have been raised by other residents: - a shaving point but no mirror in the en suite, whilst the other bathroom has a mirror but no shaving point - no oven gloves - a large assortment of knives and forks, but somewhat lacking in spoons - an odd assortment of glasses

Beautiful location and a great complex of cottages although you need to be a confident driver to tackle the steep hills. The village is gorgeous. The cottage is a complete escape and also great base to explore this lovely area. We would definitely return.

Very good cottage and lovely location,well equiped .Stayed four times now. The only small complaint I make with the hope it will help the owners. A good mirror is required in the bathroom and main bedroom. The toilet seat in the bathroom is the wrong size for the toilet pan which results in a cleaning problem. A hook would help on the bathroom door. Mattress on double bed is not comfortable. A chair would help also. Stuart Nichols. New Zealand.

Thank you Dart Valley Cottages. Another enjoyable week spent in Dittisham (I relax completely as soon as I arrive in this wonderful little village). It is always the beds that I am concerned about when renting a property. No complaints in that department, they were so comfortable. Barnfield was perfect!

Peaceful Barnfield

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful village; great views of the river and only a short walk to The Ham. Here exceptional views across to The Greenway and Galmpton. Fabulous walking to the Ferry Boat Inn especially at low tide -along the beach! Comfortable and very homely, felt settled immediately we moved in.

Family half term break

Barnfield is a beautiful upside down cottage, very well equipped with plenty of quality crockery and cutlery. Lovely pictures and ornaments dotted around, plus books and DVD's, making it very homely. The second bedroom however is a twin, not a double as stated in the description.

Lovely views at Barnfield

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in this well equipped and comfortable barn conversion. Enjoyed the stunning views from the property and great dog walks in the village and surrounding area. The only downside was the building work going on next door, it was a bit noisy at times. We would definetly be happy to stay at Barnfield again.

Peaceful Location

Our fourth stay at Dittisham Court but our first stay in Barnfield and we would stay there again. The property is well furnished, light and airy with plenty of easy parking. The views from the communal garden looking out over the estuary are stunning. Good walks from the property to Dartmouth, Totnes or across the estuary to other villages.

A lovely airy spacious cottage in a very quiet location with a fantastic view.

Loved our stay at Barnfield, the cottage is in a great location with views of the sunset that couldn’t be better! The local pub provides great meals on the terrace and also doubles as the village shop which is really well stocked should you decide to stay in.
