One of the cleanest and most well-equipped cottages we have stayed in.

One of the cleanest and most well-equipped cottages we have stayed in. While in total rural countryside close to Dartmoor, it is about 5 minutes to the main Exeter to Bodmin (A30) Rd, giving quick and easy access to Dartmoor and Devon's south coast.The Owner was very friendly, and as the temperature (it was September) was forecasted to drop, she even came to ensure we knew how to turn on the heating.Cheriton Bishop is a small village, which has a pub with good food and a local store for essentials.I would certainly not hesitate to recommend friends to book this property.

Lovely cottage Lovely cottage.

Lovely cottage Lovely cottage. Spacious, clean and delightful. Lovely Apple orchard and the apples are to die for! Delicious!! The dog loved the large open space! Kids loved the games room and played pool every day. The swimming pool was good but the weather meant we could not take full advantage of it!! Owners are super helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. We loved the location. Very central and allowed us to explore Dartmoor national park as well as the seaside. Just marked location as 7 because in the dark and with a member of the party with visual impairment the walk from the car park up to Discovery was not easy. Mentioned that the step outside discovery should have been painted white to facilitate safer entrance to the cottage. Sheilas was most welcoming and supportive during our stay - we will definitely consider returning - thankyou.

Cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. The complex was well maintained and the owners were extremely pleasant and were always available for advice on where to go and what to do in the area during our stay. We would have no hesitation in returning in the future.
