A great little cottage, on a quiet road near to a farm, plenty of cows and sheep to see out of the window. Very clean, warm and comfortable. Not a lot to do around the village but that's why we liked it, a walk on the beach every day kept the little one happy, a few forest walks around too but bring your wellies! Lots within driving distance if you want to go further afield though.
A few things to look out for - the stairs are a little steep which is fine, but the double and twin rooms upstairs are separated by a few steps and a tiny landing at the top of the staircase, so we weren't really comfortable leaving our three year old who likes a nighttime wander in the twin room on his own, so he ended up in with us; and while the dining table was fine for us as a couple with one small child, if you're a bigger family, or three or more adults, you'll probably have to rearrange some of the furniture to get everyone round it. Still had a great time though. :)
