We had a great week at Stable End.

We had a great week at Stable End. The owners were very helpful and very keen to be fully Covid compliant. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable and all the appliances were top notch. The village of Halesworth had a good range of shops, restaurants and a lovely park for young children. Whilst not as close as we’d thought to the coast it’s close enough for easy access. A superb location, not only for visiting interesting places but also at least 3 pubs within easy walking distance. Everything was as described (not as daft as it sounds as we have had some issues in the past!), and more besides. Janet and Brian are excellent hosts and the welcome pack including not only tea, coffee and milk but also homemade cakes and a bottle of wine, was a real treat.

Spent a very enjoyable week at Stable End. The cottage was lovely - clean and well equipped. Felt quite spacious for a cottage with a lovely small garden. The cottage is on a main road, although heard surprisingly little noise from traffic. Games room a great extra - enjoyed a few games of snooker during the week. Very warm welcome from owners.

The cottage is perfect.

The cottage is perfect. It's close to town and easy to drive/cycle/walk to lots of places from, but so quiet you would think it was a really rural location. Beautifully done - great space, well-equipped, fascinating internal architecture/decor. Secure courtyard garden for dogs and easy dog walking nearby. Lovely hosts. Blissful bed. I managed not to steal the tea-cosy, but I can't say I wasn't tempted.

Loved our stay. Very comfortable cottage, lovely beds and linen, good bathrooms and delightful lounge/living space and well equipped kitchen. We stayed with our two grandchildren and their bedroom was super and we all slept well. The location is very accessible to Suffolk Coast and Countryside and we highly recommend. Janel and Brian the owners were very helpful and lovely.

Had a fabulous girlie weekend at Stable End. A beautiful cottage with a warm and friendly feel. Well equipped, comfortably furnished and very clean. Enclosed garden, perfect for our two dogs. Owners were friendly and helpful and we appreciated the welcome goodies. Perfect location for touring round Suffolk. It will be difficult to find a cottage that lives up to this high standard-good excuse to re-visit!

Stable end is a lovely cottage and the owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. The local town is a short walk away and the coast was a short drive with Walberswick being a favorite during our stay. I would certainly recommend and will return there myself

Good holiday base from which to explore. Very helpful and friendly owners who are available when needed but allow privacy. Good for dog owners. Useful information pack. Well equipped kitchen. Was worried about being on a “main road”, but it isn’t a main road by the rest of the country’s standards, minimal traffic.
