We really enjoyed our stay at The Conifers.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Conifers. It was lovely and quiet. My partner was recuperating from heart surgery so we didn’t go too far, nice flat walks nearby. Long and short. I think probably most people that stay have dogs, as non dog owners, we could smell dog in the main living area and when you sat on the sofas or the rug. It Wouldn’t stop me from staying again though as everything was clean, the bed was comfy. The car was parked right outside. There was everything we required for cooking. The small private seating area was nice for sitting and reading or eating outside.Lovely hot shower. Convenient for lots of Norfolk attractions and friendly hosts.

Just a perfect base for the two of us and our two dogs. Very clean and cosy. Everything we needed at hand. Campsites around us but we never heard any noise from them. It was a nice bungalow cottage with a very comfortable king size bed.

It was a nice bungalow cottage with a very comfortable king size bed. It was ideal if you bring your dog(s) because of the nearby trails. The shower was powerful. It was peaceful because of the rural surroundings. It was well situated and it seems that everywhere worth visiting in Norfolk was just a 20 min drive away, Cromer, Norwich, Wroxham, and Great Yarmouth a little further away.Bad points were that you only get one set of towels unless you go and ask for more from the owners (who were friendly). Although the cottage was peaceful and in a rural setting, the access was a challenge because of the single track roads leading to it. Over all it was an inexpensive holiday and the accommodation was value for money.

Main gripe about this cottage is lack of wi-fi - it wouldn’t have normally bothered me but the weather was not very good the weekend we stayed. Internet access would have helped us plan our days better based on the days weather which we also couldn’t check until we got to an area where we could get a phone signal. The cottage itself was well equipped and the walks were good for the dog but felt it was a little isolated for local amenities. We enjoyed our stay overall but would not return as we felt we explored the area during our stay.
